We had the good fortune of connecting with Camille Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Camille, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting my own business was that I would like someone else get healed and have enough confidence to live life and go after their dreams. I am almost 40 years old and I finally have enough confidence in my to go after what I want! God has brought me through a lot and I believe if others build a relationship with him and be willing to put in a little work they may not have to wait as long as I did to start living.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Currently I still work a full time job in the billing department at Malin. I Like what I do but I know that is not my passion nor my purpose in life. I am currently work in on my restoration coaching program and plan to launch in November of this year! The program with focus on healing, gaining self-love, self-worth and self-confidence.
What sets me apart is that I genuinely love to see other women win. I do not like to see people being taking advantage of and view themselves as less than others. I would like to assist others to be healed and gain confidence in themselves to know their worth and to see themselves how God sees them. I have been through this and I am very passionate about seeing others succeed in this area of their lives.
I am very excited about being able to open up about my past while being able to help other’s in the process. Talking about the things I have been through is not anything that you would want to tell people and to be honest it can be embarrassing. I am willing to put it out there if it will encourage others to not be ashamed of their past and that change can come if you do the work.
Like I mentioned earlier I have not yet launched my program but I have been putting a little content on social media. It has not been easing getting started with being a single mom of three small kids and I’ve actually had to put my program on pause a few times. I am able to push forward because of an amazing group I am part of called purpose pushers and these ladies are all about keeping each other encouraged as we go through life! Life definitely has its ups and downs and we all need a little help getting back up. My relationship with God is another why that I get strength to keep pushing. He is amazing and my will is to do his will.
I have learned that things definitely don’t change over night and even when you have been changed you can still make the wrong choice due to having a moment of vulnerability but that does not mean that you go back to the old you just take out the time to see what went wrong and do better. I also learned that your relationship with God is really important. If you keep your focus on Him the rest will follow.
I would like the work to know that you do not have to be ashamed of your past and what people may say about you. No one is perfect and no one has to stay the same. My I Am Daughter program is all about changing your mindset about how you view yourself and pursuing your purpose. It’s about encouragement and relationship. I went through a whole lot of broken relationships and always called myself helping out others but always ended up getting used in the end. I got to a point to where I felt like I did not have anything to offer in a relationship. I had no confidence in myself and I allowed it to hold be back from pursing a career and living life. restoration and confidence with come by cultivating a relationship with God and adding a few steps to your life!
