We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Jolly and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Some habits that have helped me succeed are goal setting, staying organized, and surrounding myself with uplifting and supportive people. I am able to incorporate these aspects into my life by practicing mindfulness and working to have a positive outlook.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have always had a passion for helping others and have witnessed first hand how the life coaching process can transform one’s life. In my young adult life I found myself lost and confused on my purpose. It was with the help of a life coach that I was able to gain a new perspective and overcome the limiting beliefs I placed on myself.

In my career as a Certified Mental Health Coach, I feel rewarded by the opportunity I have to help clients make positive and impactful changes to their lives. Clients often come to me feeling very overwhelmed with trying to balance different areas in their life (relationships, parenting, school, etc). To help clients overcome some of these challenges, I motivate and empower clients to form positive thoughts, believe in themselves, and take things one step at a time. Transformation and healing take place when individuals reach out for support, set attainable goals, and begin celebrating the small victories along the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places to hang out is the PGA Fields in Frisco. They have so much to offer for all ages, including restaurants, games, and events. It can be a great spot to have a little getaway or just hang out for the day. I also enjoy spending time at Legacy West and checking out the shops and restaurants.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to take a moment to thank my family for being such an amazing support system. Their love, encouragement, and guidance has meant the world to me. I would not be where I am in life today if it were not for them. I also want to express my gratitude for the support I have received from my supervisors at Frisco Counseling and Wellness. Their guidance, encouragement, and trust in me have been invaluable in my professional growth.
