Meet Brooke Freilino

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Freilino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
In the fashion and modeling industry, you’re going to get told no, or you’re going to be rejected. I have made so much progress in little over a year , and I am very proud of myself. I think I am so passionate and I love what I do I would never allow myself to just give up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved the fashion world, so finally being in the industry is so exciting. I always go into fittings, shoots or castings being positive and friendly to everyone. My mom always says “There are beautiful girls all over the world, the way you act and treat people is what’s going to set you apart from the rest” I always think back to this quote because sometimes you will meet unfriendly people and you just have to continue being yourself.. I am very excited for this next year and all the opportunities I’ve received! This industry is extremely cutthroat, you have to have thick skin and determination, take every opportunity, meet new people, and enjoy it. I am passionate about what I do, and I strive to be authentic and professional everywhere I go, it’s been an exciting journey so far and I’m grateful for all the opportunities and talented individuals I have met!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
New Mexico has so many beautiful places to visit, I would take my friends and family to visit White Sands National Park, hiking in the Organ Mountains and definitely take them to Old Mesilla Plaza in Las Cruces!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to start off by first thanking my parents, John and Laurie Freilino. Im so lucky to have parents who support me in everything I do. This wouldn’t be possible without there love and encouragement. The first designers to ever give me an opportunity when I walked New York fashion week for the first time in 2022, Archie Brown and Hafanana Swimwear. They have provided me with so many amazing opportunities and support. I am still in contact with them both of them today! A more recent designer I have been walking for is Krissy King. Krissy and her team make me feel so confident and beautiful on the runway and she introduced me to some of my best friends as well as connected me with even more designers, photographers and models! I would also love to thank every photographer I have worked with in the past year in the New Mexico and El Paso Texas area! and last I want to thank everyone on my social medias for always supporting me and giving me words of encouragement! The list could go on and on, I am very grateful for everyone in my life who has helped me get this far.
