We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Do what’s right, not what’s easy”. I feel that this quote encompasses integrity. As a business owner, your reputation means everything. Some agents try to cut corners to save time and resources which is not always in the best interest of their clients. I believe that doing what is right is honorable and once clients experience that they are more inclined to trust you with the largest purchase of their lives and refer you to their trusted allies.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of Luxe Realty Group, brokered by eXp in the North Dallas market. I have been in business for almost 18 years. Real estate is often glamorized by fabulous TV shows like Millionaire Listings and House Hunters. However, to be successful, there are many obstacles to overcome: being an independent contractor, finding lead sources, lack of stability, wearing multiple hats. The number one way I have overcome these challenges is by changing my mindset and focusing on maintaining a healthy outlook. Coming from abundance and seeing the best of negative situations is imperative when you’re faced with rejection, let down and even the dreaded, “best friend uses another agent” dilemma. That mindset shift allowed me to believe if I focus on the activities of a successful business instead of the results business will flow steadily. This is a staple of Luxe Realty Group as well as providing luxury service for every price point. These philosophies have allowed us to become the top 1.5% ranked agent in the nation and assist hundreds of families in the Dallas area.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
McKinney is an amazing city. My favorite weekend itinerary is visiting Downtown McKinney and the many restaurants, shops and nightspots. Breakfast at Spoons. Lunch at The Yard for a delicious burger and froze or pizza and a beer at Cadillacs Pizza. Steak dinner and a concert at Local Yocal or anything from Urban Wine and Grill. Wine flights at Barron’s Winery or ZinZen’s.

For shopping a stop at Willow House, Petals and Vine and bird & words are musts!

Typical hang out spots are any any local patio restaurant, Stonebridge Country Club or the movies.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My real estate journey begin as a young adult at the ripe age of 21. I was strongly supported by my husband however I did not have a peer group who related to my drive and entrepreneur desires in real estate. After relocating to the Dallas area, I found an amazing mastermind group of real estate agents across the nation. They helped change my perspective of my own abilities, goals, dreams and opportunities. This group encouraged, demanded and collaborated with me on setting goals, growing my business AND leveraging. I also have the amazing support of my admin team. The believe in me and help grow our business together.
