We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brian, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
One habit I feel that helped me succeed Is being consistant and dedicated to improving my DJ craft. Also, showing up on time and doing more than what is required for a specific services needed for an event. Last, learning how to grow from being single as a professional military and DJ and turning into a marriage family man and professional in a military. I have to be organized, have a purpose daily, and take breaks to re-energize my daily, monthly, yearly hustle.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My professional career has been dual hatted as a United States Air Force member and a professional DJ. I’ve been blessed to be able to do both careers that I love and enjoy for 20 years. The military hasTo grow as an individual, travel the world, and enhance leadership skills.
My DJ career Has grown from a hobby to a full fledge business. Learning how to DJ had to take a lot of confidence, patience, Self reflection, And consistency.
Neither of these professions were easy to be successful in. Major lessons along the way Is referring back to my moral compass this doing what I feel is right in The Times of being tested and going against my beliefs. Sometimes it resulted in losses, but I won more sticking to my morales & values.
I would want the world to know about my brand as a DJ I bring great energy, I can mix and blend music seamlessly, MC, host trivia nights. Moreover, my goal is to exceed expectations and make every event memorable.
As a Air Force member career Air Transportation, it was an honor to serve my country and proud to do 20 years. I have been to war, saved lives, provided nations, territories, countries with humanitarian relief, follower, leader, mentor, and more.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

All fast food restaurants such as Chick-fil-A water Burger, 6 flags, hurricane HarborNight clubs comedy clubsMalls, Definitely make sure I stop by my brother’s Barbershop New York styles always keep me looking fresh when I come home on vacation and hopefully permanently once I retire from the United States Air Force. I love coming back home to Arlington Texas Graduated from Sam Houston And lived in Arlington for 20 years. Out of all the places I’ve been in the world Dallas Fort Worth is #1.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank for my success my wife my kids, mom, dad , Brother and his family. Without their love and support I could have been successful in my professional military career and DJ career. Also I would like to thank all the D j’s that I’ve played with and learned from, promoters / clubs, and all couples who trusted me to DJ their weddings. Lastly, Thank all the states, cities, and countries worldwide that allowed me to play in their communities such as Germany, Guam, Japan, Korea, Hawaii, Charleston South Carolina, and Afghanistan.
