We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Mullins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m from Dallas, originally from the North side and It definitely impacted me in a big way because my household and neighborhood was very diverse. Not only music wise but also culturally. My immediate family and friends listened to many different kinds of music and all genres were played in my household. I didnt realize how much it had impacted me until later on in life when it helped me to be able to recognize great music, produce, promote, and work in both music and film.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what sets me apart is the way that I interact with artists. It enables me to bring the best out of them, whether thats making music, or filming a video, or even helping them promote their art.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Deep Ellum for sure. Bishop Arts District.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Too many to name so I’m gonna keep it simple. Shoutout to my partner and best friend in this, Jayson Horne aka Trill Gatez, and Elohim Throwed. RIP Big Al and Mabooda
