We had the good fortune of connecting with BRANDON HENRY and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BRANDON, do you have a budget? How do you make lifestyle and spending decisions?
I do have a budget: I set aside costs for material, select whatever I need according to what the demand or what fits my vision, then spend what I need.

I am very meticulous about budgeting and spending, making sure I do not overspend but investing in quality product to ensure business stays fluent.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called “Gentlemen’s Creed” and I specialize in men’s accessories: ties, pocket square, cufflinks, beaded bracelets, wooden watches, wooden shades, lapel pins, and outrageous socks. What sets me apart is my sharp eye…I can create a look essentially from nothing and come up with a unique, vibrant, and eye-catching accessory set to accentuate a suit or outfit.

What I am proud about is Gentlemen’s Creed is an all original idea. People love my product because of the originality and innovation. I get excited to know that people come and purchase something that came from my brain! Wow!

I started my business in 2020 and the only challenge I face is when the seasons change and things start to slow, sales wise. So I am challenged to come up with a concept for that particular season to adapt. And trust me, my creative process is so limitless I always find a way to bring something new to my repertoire.

What I want the world to know that Gentlemen’s Creed is a movement! I accessorize ANY outfit or suit, formal or casual…adding sauce to your swag! My website has a plethora of unique tie/accessory combination sets and I even customize. I also style weddings, proms, homecomings, etc.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, since I am a huge fan of the downtown night life, (especially patios and rooftops) we’d definitely visit The Soda Bar located on the rooftop of the Nylo Hotel. We drink, shoot pool, and enjoy the downtown Dallas skyline.

Since all my friends are grown and mature, visit one of the many cigar lounges in the city. Something real laid back and low key. And mingle with some very cool people.

And If it’s basketball season, definitely hit a Dallas Mavs game and watch Luka Doncic and company handle business!

And since I’m a die hard Cowboys fan, we definitely have to catch a game at AT&T Stadium! Go Cowboys!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First off, I’d like to give credit to my Dad, who has always had impeccable style. He was what we call “fly” and debonair and as a kid I watched him work his magic.

Secondly, I’d like to shout out my little sister Nekura Hartley who has a very keen sense of fashion and sharpened my vision and challenged my fashion sense.
