Meet Brandon Bradley | Commercial Real Estate Professional

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
AAREP DFW is an organization designed to provide its members, who are majority African American commercial real estate professionals, with opportunity to network, collaborate and grow within the commercial real estate industry. This is important to provide support for our members as they navigate their real estate careers.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been in the real estate industry for almost 20 years. Doing everything from being a residential real estate agent, apartment property manager, on down to managing real estate portfolios for several Fortune 500 companies. It has not been easy getting to where I am today, I have worked extremely hard and made a lot of mistakes that I have learned from to help advance my career and continue growth. One of the things that has been a cornerstone of my progress is not being afraid of rejection and when rejection happens continuing on to find another path. I have had to have real conversations with myself on how to make improvements in my presentation. whether that be going back to school to get more education or joining organizations such as Toastmasters to work on my public speaking.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a home body, so realistically if I could find a good place to smoke a cigar or listen to some good music it would suit me.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate my success to my family, my mother who has instilled the values of hard work and dedication in me. Also, my wife and my kids who have been with me through the ups and downs of my career.
