Meet Bob Tinn | Design and install contractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bob Tinn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bob, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Over the past several years, I’ve enjoyed creating home theater rooms and sports fan caves for myself and my family. I have a strong passion for and knowledge of sports and entertainment and enjoy designing rooms that provide deluxe comfort and showcase memorabilia that “talks to me” while watching sports or movies. Time spent with family or friends in these special rooms has given me great satisfaction, building memories and bonding with those whom I care about the most. Having an opportunity to create similar spaces for others is something I’m excited to offer in a profession that challenges creativity and artistic vision while capturing my customers’ vision and passion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Today, I’m busy starting up Deluxe Fan Caves, developing its branding, meeting with community organizations, and talking with potential customers.  I have also been focused on the supply chain for quality memorabilia items, encasements, art murals, audio and visual equipment, etc. to ensure my future customers have a deluxe experience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many places to hang out, Houston has a lot to offer in this regard. Quality time at the house to visit, cook and drink is always good too. Taking in a show in the theatre district or seeing a ball game or two either baseball, basketball or football is always fun. Visiting Kemah with its many restaurants and bars on the boardwalk is a good time. Nasa Space Center is always interesting and educational. I’m not a big “go to the bar” type of person but do enjoy going to some of Houston’s highly rated restaurants.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family. They are my biggest supporters always encouraging and willing to help along the way with their unwavering and unconditional encouragement, love and support. This journey would not be possible without them.
