We had the good fortune of connecting with Becky Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Becky, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We wanted to start a business that brought joy to our community! We loved the idea of creating unique, happy memories and ‘manufacturing smiles’ with our mini donuts. Every time we serve a hot, fresh donut, we love seeing people react as they taste the first bite. It’s amazing to see them turn to their friends and laugh while they enjoy the custom flavors. It’s impossible to frown while eating a mini donut topped with Oreo, fruity pebbles or lucky charms. We are grateful to be fulfilling our mission of spreading joy in our community, with donuts!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are grateful for the opportunity to start our own business. It’s been a process of juggling work, family time and keeping our faith as the core focus of all we do. We are still learning what ‘balance’ means and have a long way to go in perfecting the work/family balance. For us, we try to involve our kids in what we do. They love seeing mom and dad bring smiles to people with donuts!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We love sharing our donuts with friends and family. Having them taste test different flavors like, peach pie, strawberry shortcake and maple bacon is always a source of laughter as they try some of the fun and unexpected toppings for donuts!

DonutNV is the brand that began it all! We are grateful to Alex and Amanda for going out on a limb, following their donut dreams and inspiring us to do so too!
