We had the good fortune of connecting with Bassam Khalaf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bassam, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was driven by a deep-seated desire for freedom from the constraints of traditional employment, prompting me to explore the realm of entrepreneurship. The inception of my business journey was rooted in a fervent passion for creativity, fueling the vision to establish a haven where groundbreaking ideas could flourish. This passion for art and creativity naturally led to the creation of Rubik Creative as a creative agency. The initial venture into the coffee shop business allowed me to blend my entrepreneurial spirit with a love for community, culture, and the ambiance that makes a space conducive for work, study, hangouts, and relaxation. The decision to sell De Ra coffee was strategic, opening the door to new opportunities within the coffee industry, and ultimately giving rise to Beeso Coffee Company.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Certainly! I run two main businesses that uniquely complement each other. Firstly, there’s Rubik Creative, a dynamic creative agency specializing in graphic design, video production, web development, and photo booth for events. Our focus is on delivering innovative solutions across various creative realms.

Secondly, I dived into the coffee industry by founding De Ra Coffee. Starting from scratch, I built it into a thriving venture. However, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to sell it, paving the way for a new chapter with Beeso Coffee. This venture was born out of the lessons learned, offering improved services and creative ideas in the coffee catering industry.

What sets us apart is our dual expertise in both creativity and coffee. It’s not just about delivering excellent graphic design or serving quality coffee; it’s about seamlessly blending these two worlds to create memorable experiences. The journey hasn’t been easy, but overcoming challenges has been a crucial part of the process.

Our story is one of constant growth, innovation, and a passion for delivering excellence. We want the world to know that we are more than businesses; we are a creative force that thrives on challenges and transforms them into opportunities. Our commitment to quality, adaptability, and the fusion of creativity with coffee sets us apart in a dynamic and competitive market.
