We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashton Vasquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashton, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
When you have a family of 6, with 4 children there is no option of giving up, you keep living praying and hoping for the best keep promoting yourself until your satisfied with the outcome.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a freelance photographer. I love capturing moments with family friends and loved ones. A lot of people don’t realize like hey we don’t have family photos or we haven’t done this since the kids were little. That’s where I come in I wanna help capture those moments that are unforgettable. People don’t print they capture them on the phone store them away no I want to take that moment print it then to make sure you have it for a lifetime. You know they say pictures are priceless. The road hasn’t been easy it has its ups and downs like anything else biggest thing is believing in yourself having that support system and never giving up staying consistent is the biggest part in success. I can definitely say a lesson I’ve learned is never go into anything thinking oh this is cake walk because you know someone or think because it’s a friend that it doesn’t matter. Every moment you walk in to do a job you take it serious 100 percent. I want the world to know that shay innovation is a small time business owner that has a family on her on and she is just chasing a passion that has been a lifetime dream:.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a traveler so don’t go out much in my own town ha ha. But I would definitely have to say we would hit up 7th street I’ve heard it’s a lot to get into down there food drinks and I’m big on Trinity park the views walking kids play ground so many different things that cross paths there.

Lance pinnick.
He did a wonderful photoshoot of a good friend of ours that had breast cancer that touched my soul in a way I thought couldn’t be touch from then on I knew it was time to go after my dreams
