We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was that I can make more of an impact on my career by doing things I am passionate about and still succeed.

Before starting my own business, I thought about my previous role, the environment I worked in, and how my role affected me outside of work.

I was working in education previously and was happy with my role but felt I had to hide my passion project, this wellness business, and my authentic interests.

I knew I would be successful if I could use my current work ethic combined with my passion for wellness!

Success to me is being able to have more impact on my finances, and having a schedule that works for me. Those reasons were appealing enough for me to begin my own business full-time.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Lotus Bliss Botanicals’ product line of hemp derived chocolate bars and wellness products are truly premium quality. We’re committed to using only the highest quality ingredients, organic herbs and sustainable materials. Every product is 100% vegan, herbalist formulated for effective results and prestigiously handcrafted.

Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy, by staying consistent, prioritizing rest and breaks and leaning on my support system has helped me to overcome many challenges.

I’d like the world to know, we understand the benefits of each herb in our formulas and prioritize the needs our customers have.
Our wellness products are all bottled in glass, an easily recyclable material that impacts the environment positively.
Our products are unique, and our company is too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would start the day going to the Trinity Overlook Park, enjoying nature and the beautiful view of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, this park is so spacious and a great place to exercise or relax in the sun and catch up. Then we can head out to have brunch at Snooze AM eatery which has a great selection of food for multiple food tastes, even vegan!
As a thrill lover I’m always eager to head to Six Flags or Hurricane Harbor when friends are in town to visit.
I’d bring my best friend to Thread Beauty Salon in Euless; I’ve gone there for years and can vouch for a great beauty experience and kind staff upon arrival.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I really want to dedicate a shout-out to my family and the public library in my community.
