Hi Arabella, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’ve never been someone who craved security—that’s probably why I became an entrepreneur in my early 20s. To me, the regret of not trying is far worse than the fear of failing. At 25, I left a stable career with MAC Cosmetics to become a freelance makeup artist, even when it wasn’t considered a “real” career. I had no clients, no money—just a vision.

Fifteen years later, after building a successful business in Canada, I took the leap again and moved to Dallas to start over from scratch. I left behind clients, community, and comfort to launch my beauty boutique specializing in luxury makeup, brows, and education. It was a bigger risk than the first—but when something keeps calling from within, I believe it’s meant to grow. I’d rather try and fail than spend my life wondering “what if.” Every risk I’ve taken has brought me closer to purpose.

Our founder and lead brow artist, Arabella, formerly served as the Head Brow Artist for the Ritz-Carlton—bringing elite-level precision and care to every client.

We’re not just about delivering flawless results—we’re also deeply committed to beauty education. Whether it’s through a makeup application or a brow service, we teach women how to care for and express their beauty beyond the appointment. From personalized product recommendations to hands-on lessons, we empower our clients with knowledge they can take with them.

Our signature nano brow technique, luxury makeup artistry, and one-of-a-kind educational approach have changed women’s lives—not just in how they look, but how they feel.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit me, I’d take them to some of my favorite spots around Dallas. We’d start at Lakeside, where there are charming little restaurants and a beautiful walking path by the water. Then we’d head to Las Colinas for a stroll along the canal—it’s such a peaceful and scenic area. For food, I’d take them to Hard Eight for some amazing Texas barbecue, and we’d probably end the night with a drink in downtown Dallas to soak in the city vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of the biggest things that has helped me through this transitional season of starting my business has been the community I’ve built around me. The women in Dallas have been incredibly kind, supportive, and generous.

I joined a women’s entrepreneur group called FMWIB—Flower Mound Women in Business—and it’s been a game-changer. Not only have they helped me secure a grant, but more importantly, they’ve created a space where women uplift and encourage each other. We’re all on a similar journey of building something meaningful, and there’s so much power in that shared purpose.

I’ve also been deeply supported by Sandi Hammons Luxury Beauty Salons, where my boutique is located. Sandi has been more than a business partner—she’s been a spiritual mentor and a true friend. Her guidance and belief in me have meant more than words can express.
