We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrei Tone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrei, what principle do you value most?
What value or principle matters most to you? Why?

At Tone Films, the value that matters most is excellence with authenticity. As a Dallas video production company, we believe that the best stories come from a place of real connection—whether we’re capturing a brand’s vision, telling a founder’s story, or filming a fast-paced commercial. In a city like Dallas, filled with ambition and creativity, it’s not enough to just deliver content—we aim to elevate it. That means bringing cinematic quality, strategic storytelling, and a deep understanding of our client’s voice to every project.

What sets Tone Films apart from other Dallas video production companies is our commitment to both the craft and the people behind it. We don’t just create—we collaborate, we care, and we push for exceptional. That principle guides every frame we shoot and every relationship we build across Dallas and beyond.

What should our readers know about your business?
Tone Films is a full-service Dallas video production company that brings vision to life through strategic storytelling, cinematic visuals, and meaningful collaboration. What sets us apart from other Dallas video production companies is not just our technical expertise—but our commitment to capturing the soul of a brand, person, or project.

We specialize in commercial production, branded content, and documentary-style storytelling. Whether we’re filming in the heart of Dallas or on-location across the country, we’re obsessed with helping our clients connect deeply with their audience. From small businesses and city governments to influencers and Fortune 500 companies, we treat every project with intention and creative fire.

The journey here wasn’t easy. I started Tone Films with a clear vision and a lot of grit. There were moments where money was tight, where projects fell through, and where I had to bet on myself—again and again. But every challenge refined our edge. It pushed us to elevate our craft and our client experience. One major lesson I’ve learned: consistency, character, and creativity will open doors that talent alone can’t.

Today, I’m proud to say that Tone Films is trusted across Dallas, Fort Worth, Tulsa, Nashville, and beyond. But we’re just getting started.

If I could leave the world with one takeaway: Tone Films is more than just a production company. We’re a team of dreamers and doers who believe your story deserves to be told in a way that moves people.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Dallas for the week, I’d make sure they got the full experience—where Southern charm meets big-city creativity.

Day 1: Deep Ellum Vibes
We’d kick things off in Deep Ellum—street murals, live music, and some of the best tacos in the city. We’d grab lunch at Pepe & Mito’s (trust me, the brisket tacos are life-changing), then check out Deep Vellum Books for a little culture and creativity.

Day 2: Content Creation + Coffee
We’d shoot some cool content downtown or at White Rock Lake—one of my favorite spots to film at for Tone Films. After that, we’d hit La La Land Kind Café for a solid latte and even better energy. Their mission is all about kindness, and it shows.

Day 3: Business & BBQ
Since I live and breathe entrepreneurship, we’d drop into Common Desk or The Slate—co-working spaces where Dallas creatives and founders connect. Then for dinner? You can’t come to Texas without trying Pecan Lodge or Terry Black’s BBQ. It’s sacred.

Day 4: Art + Skyline
We’d explore the Dallas Museum of Art and walk through Klyde Warren Park—food trucks, live music, and downtown skyline views. At night, we’d get rooftop drinks at Happiest Hour or Sky Blossom to watch the city glow.

Day 5: Luxury & Legacy
A drive through Highland Park is a must—it’s a mix of luxury, history, and inspiration. We’d stop at Honor Bar for a clean, upscale meal, then visit The George W. Bush Presidential Library for a bit of leadership perspective.

Day 6: Fort Worth Day Trip
We’d head west to Fort Worth Stockyards for a total vibe shift—live cattle drives, western flair, and dancing at Billy Bob’s Texas. It’s authentic Texas fun you just can’t fake.

Day 7: Sabbath + Refuel
To wrap the week, we’d take a slow Sunday—coffee at The Collaborate Coffee House (which Tone Films proudly featured in a video), followed by worship at Upper Room or Shoreline City. Then maybe a final dinner at Monarch—modern Italian with unreal skyline views.

Dallas is the kind of place that blends ambition with artistry. The people here dream big and hustle hard. That’s what I love most—and that’s the city I’d show off.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely. My journey with Tone Films wouldn’t be what it is without a few key people and moments. First, I want to shout out my brother, Robert Tone—his authenticity, joy, and resilience have been a constant reminder of why storytelling matters. He reminds me that people are more than what’s on the surface, and that shapes how we approach every project at Tone Films, especially here in the heart of Dallas’s creative scene.

I also want to recognize Gene Lamberth, a mentor and close friend who has walked through life with me for over a decade. His wisdom, faith, and quiet strength have influenced how I lead—not just as the founder of a Dallas production company, but in life.

Finally, I’d give credit to the city of Dallas itself. The people here are bold, entrepreneurial, and full of vision—and that’s who we serve. Whether we’re working with startups, artists, or global brands, Dallas has helped shape Tone Films into more than just a video production company—we’re a creative partner built for big dreams.
