We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Gomez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Wasn’t so much of a thought process. I just knew I was a single mom and had to do what I had to do for them and my treats being an advantage I decided to give it my all.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I take pride in my product and I feel like what sets me apart is my quality and presentation. I always felt as if you have to catch someone’s eye first then you have their attention. I got to where I was simply cause I had no other choice. I knew I wanted to be with my kids all the time and this was my best option, it was definitely not easy. You think working for yourself would be fun and games and you never stop working lol. As far as a lesson I have learned that you will take losses, it’s not always good but you must remember to keep pushing through all obstacles, the down sides never last forever. I would like janyone to know as a full time single mom, IF I CAN DO IT – YOU CAN TOO! Have faith and keep striving.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I honestly don’t go out so this is a tough question! Lol I’d take them to eat at campusanoz or any small business pop ups that are taking place so we can go out and support.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Most definitely My kids, my family for always having unconditional love and support and most importantly the customers who took a chance to support me. They became a family to me that I appreciate and hold dearly to my heart .
