We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Torres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, what is the most important factor behind your success?
the most important aspect of my business is to empower other people to reach their goals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Sales Executive at Alamo Title. My job is to meet realtors and ensure they bring their contracts to us. It has been through doing that, I have been able to meet incredible business owners who upon hearing about their story inspires me to help them achieve their dreams. I took the time to listen to them and hear about their why and it sold me in their journey. I knew I had to partner with them and help them grow whichever way I can. From branding to digital marketing I help realtors grow their business.
I recently launched 2 ventures that I’m most excited about in addition to my job at Alamo Title.
The first is a book club that focuses on self help books to grow. I have a natural love of reading and I wanted to find a way to combine the two.
The second is a YouTube channel interviewing business owners in and out of the industry to showcase their story and empower others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have done a fun Dallas Day with my good friend before and we had the best day! We started off our morning at San Martins for brunch then we went shopping around the uptown village area, definitely making a stop at Kendra Scott. We took a quick hop on the trolley to the Klyde Warren Park. Where are we sat and had a quick snack for lunch on the lawn. The weather was much better during that season. We walked around the Dallas art museum, and then it took the trolley back to uptown.
For dinner we ended up at the AT&T discovery District Park, where we each got a different thing to eat. I got pickle pizza and she chose tacos and we ate outside in the lawn while watching a nice movie. It was a great day. She was staying at the Adolphus, so we went right down the street to Neimans and did some window shopping as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate and thank all of my success to my mom and sisters. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their guidance and mentorship. Seeing them become strong powerful women did something in the inside of me. It showed me with tenacity and grit you can achieve your goals!
My mom raised 7 kids on her own with the help of others of course but primarily starting her own notary business which led to all of her kids having entrepreneurial skills.
Each sibling has their own thriving business and it’s because of her example.
