We had the good fortune of connecting with Amani Richardson The Passion Player Chef and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amani, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Honestly, I feel like when a lot of people come in to certain situations as far as business goes the #1 object is money and they don’t necessarily keep there intentions pure through the process

For me, I live and pride myself on coming into every situation with pure intentions and as long as you approach things with pure intentions than I don’t see a way that you can lose because that ill willed energy won’t ever be in your area also The #1 thing for me will forever be impacting the customers and people that I come in contact with positively, of course money is a plus in business and yes you do want to make money but at some point when you have the money you really don’t have a “why” anymore. My why is being able to impact people in a positive way and that all I’ve ever really been about so it’s easy for me to do and that’s why I think I had success so far

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So I am a Personal Chef in Dfw, I started on my journey 3 years ago by just selling home cooked meals out of my garage and it has gotten so much bigger than I could have ever imagined, I’ve been able to travel to many different places and meet and come in contact with so many beautiful people just by the food that I make and I’m so blessed to be able to be doing what it is that I love.

The start of this year I wrote down and couple of goals and my main one was to take the next step in what ever shape or size that was and i’m so excited to announce that I will be opening my very first location called “ The Passion Café” in Grand Prairie Tx. 950 S carrier pkwy Grand Prairie Tx 75051 i’ll be opening this location early march so i’m SUPER excited about this and would love for people to come out and support!

One thing that I’ve learned is that the best thing you can do is work on Self Love because when you don’t do that it can ooze into every aspect in your life personal, business, and every other way, when I started to love myself more I was able to love every one around me better and that’s one thing i’m proud of

I want people to know that I appreciate them for everything that they do to support and that it never goes unappreciated and I got a lot of passion to give and a lot of numbers to do!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a friend that came into the city we would definitely have to kick it in dallas for the weekend and i’ll have a couple cool scenes to pull up on definitely would have to see where my boy dj guwop is at and pull up definitely bitters end in deep ellum on friday and clutch on sundays on a sunday funday vibe and we can eat at True Kitchen N Kocktails and probably have some drinks at harlowe or stirr rooftop that really my vibe cool lil scenes

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Shoutout would go to all the people that support me in my hometown Arlington Tx and My family that consistently keeps me level headed and pushes me to never get complacent and keep working
