We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Mueller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was surrounded by entrepreneurs in the blooming Dallas start up eco-system in desperate need of Controller and CFO services but couldn’t afford a full time employee. I wanted to focus on small businesses, entrepreneurs, mom and pop shops, all needing accounting, bookkeeping and financial consulting, but at the fraction of the cost. I was able to offer my expertise in an outsourced way that was a win-win for both my clients and for me. Mueller Financial Services prides itself on offering affordable, reliable, fast and efficient services to our clients. Everyone deserves to have a clean and accurate set of financials to empower them to make the best choices for their business. This is my speciality!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are focused on providing real time accounting solutions for our clients. We recognize that businesses need accurate financials and accessibility to a professional who can analyze that information and provide support to their company. We customize a client’s scope of work based on their needs, from basic bookkeeping to fractional CFO services. Additionally we have a fantastic CPA Partner (Lawson and Co CPAs) so we are able to provide our clients a referral for their business and personal tax needs. It brings the accounting full circle and our clients are empowered to make the best decisions for their business year-round.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Cibo Divino (Kessler Park) – this place is a gem. An amazing market and restaurant owned and operated by Daniele and Christina Puleo. Their Italian food and wine is on my top ten list.
Black Swan (Deep Ellum) – a place so cool they don’t even have a sign. Their house-made infusions and ambiance is unmatched.
E Bar (Dallas) – my favorite Tex Mex and margaritas in the city.
White Rock Lake/Dallas Arboretum Mod Lounge (Mockingbird Lane) – the VERY best in manicures and pedicures.
Whistling Pig (East Dallas) – our local watering hole.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My incredible husband gave me the gift to purse my dream to start my own firm. His confidence in me is unmeasurable. Without Kameron, Mueller Financial Solutions wouldn’t exist. I don’t advertise – so to say that my portfolio of clients is based 100% on referrals fills me with overwhelming gratitude. My clients are some of my most important relationships. Without my clients, Mueller Financial Solutions wouldn’t be successful. My friend Anne. We all deserve to have a person in our life who can guide us through challenges and opportunities, and never shift their support and love. Anne inspires me to be the best version of myself. She is my touch-stone. Lastly, but certainly not least. My Mom. She is my biggest cheer-leader and is an example of strength, endurance, and faith in people. She inspires me to give the very best I have to everyone I work with.
