We had the good fortune of connecting with Allison Wallace and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Allison, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The exact thought that hit me? It all makes sense now! I knew exactly what I was meant to do.

I’ve always had a passion for interior design, event planning, and keeping up with all the latest trends. In my early 20s, I was that friend—the one who threw the best parties, always knew the hottest spots, and somehow ended up planning or decorating everyone’s events. I naturally became the go-to person for planning, styling, and making sure everything looked picture-perfect.

About ten years ago, I even started an engagement and proposal planning business, helping create those big, dreamy proposals that are now everywhere on social media. I knew there was a need for this kind of service, but at the time, people weren’t actively searching for it, and I didn’t fully understand the market yet. Right idea, just a little ahead of the trend!

Fast forward to my career in the interior design and tradeshow industry, where I was immersed in logistics, sourcing vendors, and organizing events. Then, in 2019, while planning my own wedding, my wedding designer and florist asked if I knew anyone with an eye for design who was available on weekends to assist her. My immediate response? Me!

That moment changed everything. I had always loved weddings, and this opportunity gave me hands-on experience, confirming what I truly wanted—to become a wedding planner, coordinator, and curator. My background in vendor sourcing, event logistics, and collaborating with multiple vendors made it the perfect fit. Every step of my journey had unknowingly led me here. And just like that, All Walls Events was born.

What should our readers know about your business?
At All Walls Events, we bring love, energy, and meticulous attention to detail to every wedding. I’m not just your wedding curator; I’m your biggest support system—standing by your side.

Weddings can feel overwhelming, but that’s where I step in—to make sure you feel supported, heard, and fully present as you prepare for one of the most meaningful days of your life.

One of the things I’m most proud of is how All Walls Events has grown into a full-fledged business after years of working alongside industry professionals. I started by assisting and learning from seasoned experts, gaining hands-on experience in planning, design, and logistics. But deep down, I always knew I wanted to build something meaningful—something that truly reflected my passion for helping others.

Now, I plan all kinds of weddings—big or small, modern or traditional, elegant or fun-filled. Whether my couples want a chic city wedding, a timeless ballroom affair, a stunning outdoor celebration, or a mix of cultural traditions, I make sure their wedding feels authentic to them. Every love story is unique, and my goal is to create a wedding that reflects each couple’s vision, style, and personality.

Building this business hasn’t been easy. I’m still in the trenches, balancing entrepreneurship, a career, my business, and my family—all at once. There have been moments of doubt, pivots, and lessons learned the hard way—but every single challenge has shaped me into the curator I am today.

So, what keeps me going? The joy of knowing I’m making a difference. When my couples tell me at the end of their wedding day that they are so happy and thankful for me, it’s the most rewarding feeling.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned along the way, it’s this: flexibility is everything. No two weddings are alike, no two venues are alike, and no two couples share the same journey. Your schedules, priorities, and visions are unique, and I adapt to make sure your planning experience fits your lifestyle. Whether you want to be hands-on with every detail or prefer a more laid-back approach, I’m here to make sure everything flows effortlessly. With the right vendor team, a personalized approach, and a little wedding magic, you’ll get to actually enjoy your wedding day instead of stressing about the details.

But here’s what I really want the world to know: This isn’t just a business to me—it’s my heart and soul. Every couple I work with isn’t just a client; I care for them like my own family. Your love story matters, and I pour everything I have into making your wedding day as special and meaningful as it should be.

I truly believe that everyone deserves a beautiful wedding and a marriage built on love, joy, and partnership. A wedding isn’t just an event—it’s a celebration of love, family, and the beginning of a lifelong journey. Seeing my couples fully present, soaking in the love around them, knowing I played a part in making that moment happen—that’s the best feeling in the world.

At All Walls Events, my mission is simple: to be there for you, to truly listen, and to take care of you every step of the way. No matter the size, style, or traditions woven into your day, my goal is to create a wedding that feels like you—a celebration filled with love, meaning, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a wedding curator, I naturally love curating experiences—whether it’s planning a dream wedding or designing the perfect itinerary for visitors! Now that I’m a mom of two, my ideal itinerary blends family-friendly fun, great food, and a little bit of luxury. If my best friend were visiting, I’d make sure they experience the heart of Dallas—its culture, food, and vibrant energy.

Day 1: Downtown Dallas & Klyde Warren Park
Every great trip starts with good food and fresh air! We’d begin at Klyde Warren Park, where there’s something for everyone—gourmet food trucks, a fun playground for kids, and plenty of space to relax. After lunch, we’d visit the Dallas Museum of Art and the Perot Museum, then end the night with a game or concert at American Airlines Center.

Day 2: Trinity Groves & Bishop Arts District
As someone who loves design and ambiance, I’d take my best friend to Trinity Groves for dinner—it’s a great spot to soak in skyline views and amazing cuisine. Then, we’d explore the Bishop Arts District, known for its charming boutiques, local restaurants, and creative energy.

Day 3: A Taste of Texas – Fort Worth Stockyards
No trip to Texas is complete without a little Western flair, so we’d take a short drive to Fort Worth Stockyards. There’s nothing like watching a real cattle drive, exploring the historic district, and stopping for some Texas BBQ at one of the legendary smokehouses. It’s the perfect blend of Texas tradition and fun!

Day 4: Outdoor Beauty at White Rock Lake & The Dallas Arboretum
We’d take a day to enjoy White Rock Lake, where we could rent bikes, walk the scenic trails, or even kayak on the water. Right next door is the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful places in the city, especially during seasonal festivals. It’s peaceful, picturesque, and perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Day 5: Luxury Shopping & Rooftop Views
For a mix of style and sophistication, we’d stop at NorthPark Center for a little shopping, followed by rooftop drinks at The Henry or RH Rooftop. I love a stunning city view!

Day 6: Spa & Night Out in The Harwood District
To recharge, we’d start the day with a spa day at The Joule or The Ritz-Carlton, because everyone needs self-care! For the evening, we’d head to The Harwood District, one of the most stylish for nightlife in Dallas.

Day 7: Brunch & Saying Goodbye in Style
Before my friend heads home, we’d have a relaxed brunch at The Charlotte and maybe stop by The Design District, where I draw inspiration for styling and event aesthetics.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are a few amazing people who deserve a big, heartfelt shoutout!

First up—my husband! He’s been by my side from day one, cheering me on through every wild idea and business venture. He has always believed in me, supported me, and reminded me to keep going, no matter what.

Next, my daughters, Victoria and Legacy. We are a blended family, and I love that our home is filled with different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions. Being a mom is my greatest joy, and I want my girls to grow up knowing that love is what truly matters—not race, gender, or background, but the connection and commitment between people. Through my work, I also want them to embrace their heritage and understand the significance of the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony—a tradition that beautifully honors love, family, and unity.

Third, my wedding designer/florist. She’s now retired, but with 20+ years in the industry, she was a powerhouse in the wedding community. She gave me my first real opportunity to step into the wedding world, and I learned so much from working alongside her.

And of course, Viktoria of Viktoria’s Decor! We started with just one gig together—and from that moment on, we became inseparable! She’s been an amazing friend, collaborator, and mentor, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.

Beyond that, I’m incredibly thankful for all my wedding industry besties—the planners, designers, and creatives who inspire me daily. I love being part of this community, and I hope to continue making an impact in the wedding world while celebrating what truly matters—love!
