We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Soriano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for creating my business began with my passion for photography. Since I was younger, I was the only one who knew how to take pictures which somehow led to me becoming the family photographer! I have always loved seeing the emotions that develop in people when taking their pictures, therefore, I knew that I had to spread my passion by “capturing memories ” in every picture for individuals to share with their loved ones.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
In our daily lives, we all face obstacles that can impact our future actions and character. These obstacles should be better known as challenges, given that they force or “challenge” us to choose how they will impact our profession, personal life, and morals. These challenges are never easy, but they present lessons that build us as part of our journey in life.

Over the course of time, my professional career has given me the opportunity to develop characteristics and skills that have allowed me to spread joy, passion, and dedication to those around me. An important aspect of my career is to continuously demonstrate passion in everything I do, in the same manner, these skills are demonstrated in Still Water Imagery. Every part of Still Water Imagery is focused on “capturing memories” and making them lifelong experiences. We are excited for our future in store, that will open door to satisfy our customers with great memories through our continuous hard work and dedication.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend was visiting, I would give them the entire Fort Worth experience! We would visit the places that Fort Worth is known for, like Billy Bobs “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk,” The Fort Worth Zoo, The Stockyards, Sundance Square, and of course the beautifully known Water and Botanical Gardens. With each of these adventures we would fuel ourselves with the best food in the metroplex that is only served at Ol’ South Pancake House, El Mercado Juarez, and Rodeo Goat, however, you can never go wrong with Whataburger! To put the cherry on top, we would also enjoy some fun at Top Golf, Main Event, and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In the upcoming of my small business, my success is due to the blessings that God has provided me with and the unconditional support of my family. So, I dedicate this special shoutout to my family and loved ones who have always been there for me and have encouraged me to follow my dreams while shining my light along the way. Without the support of my family, I would not be where I am today!
