We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was to create a platform to empower both women & men through style to live in their truth. TRUE strives to educate & create an awareness for our network on all facets of life as a resource to support not only individual style but also mental, physical, spiritual, financial, & personal growth.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is the TRUE brand which encompasses fashion, financial, & personal empowerment. What sets me a part from others is that I’m a feeler. I’m personally invested in the overall experience of those I reach and am in tune with creating great energy for all. Getting to the position I’m in has not been easy but I can confidently yet humbly say I’m here. I believe in speaking and writing down what I want to be and creating the plan for TRUE was just that, a plan. I believe in facing challenges head on then maneuvering as needed after they’ve been accessed. Along the way the most important lesson I’ve learned is to just keep going. I want the world to know that TRUE is a light in this world of which can be dark at times. The love behind the brand truly is everything & so much more.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my best friends visit brunch is always a must and in the DFW Metroplex there are an endless number of options. During the day we’d enjoy activities in the great outdoors as there’s usually always yoga, zumba, or live concerts in the park. Add in splashes of spa treatments before heading to dinner and nights out on the town. When they’re looking for what to wear there’s no problem at all. My TRUE online store has us all covered.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to my village of supporters who keep me inspired to do more in TRUE and all areas of business. I’d especially love to give a shoutout to my daughter Sydney who continues to motivate me to grow, love, and understand not only the work I do but also those I’m able to positively impact with my platform.
