We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria Rhinehart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandria, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
My business journey has imparted numerous valuable lessons, with one of the most significant being the importance of self-regulation. Challenges will inevitably come up, but it’s crucial not to sit idly by or blame others, even if they are at fault. I’ve experienced moments where my emotions guided my decisions, but I’ve learned that this isn’t always ideal in a professional setting. By regulating my emotions and managing my nervous system, I’ve found that I handle problems more effectively. With reduced tension and worry, I’ve seen things improve more often. Even during daunting setbacks, maintaining a sense of calm has helped me become a more effective leader and founder.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Cozy Beauty Bar is a minority-owned, multi-service beauty bar dedicated to enhancing natural beauty through luxurious treatments. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to luxury, ambiance, and exceptional customer service. We take pride in our outstanding community feedback, maintaining an impressive 4.9 rating across all platforms.

My journey to establishing Cozy Beauty Bar was shaped by my experience with various startups, which deepened my knowledge, resilience, and vision. As a creative, I’ve honed essential skills in branding, marketing, and operations, all of which have been instrumental in our success.

Starting a business presented its challenges, but I discovered that with the right resources, support, and a clear vision, success is achievable. Embracing a big-picture mindset, having faith, and understanding the law of cause and effect were crucial. Additionally, effective leadership and team management were essential, as I realized that building and motivating a dedicated team was key to our progress.

One of my greatest challenges has been managing and motivating people. This experience led me to invest in my leadership skills and emotional intelligence, enabling me to better support and inspire my team. Keeping my staff motivated directly enhances the experience we provide to our customers.

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned the value of perseverance and discipline. I’ve discovered that the resources needed for success are available if you actively seek them. I’ve also learned the importance of emotional regulation, especially in handling problems, and that the effort you put in directly impacts the results you achieve.

What I want the world to know is that my motivation stems from a divine source, and with that belief, I’m capable of achieving anything. I hope to inspire others to focus on their internal mindset, as it shapes their external reality. For Cozy Beauty Bar, I want the world to recognize us as a premier destination for an exceptional beauty experience and a welcoming environment. Ultimately, I want to encourage everyone to pursue their dreams, whether as a stay-at-home parent, medical professional, or entertainer. With dedication and positive energy, anything is possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d book a suite at The Virgin Hotel. It’s the ideal spot to unwind, with its rooftop pool and cozy coffee shop. In the morning, I’d treat them to brunch at RH Rooftop, known for its stunning views and stylish atmosphere. Afterward, we’d explore Bishop Arts, strolling through charming shops, browsing record stores, getting permanent jewelry, and discovering unique specialty shops.

For lunch, I’d take them to Jalisco Norte for some excellent Mexican cuisine. We’d then head back to the hotel to relax and freshen up. In the evening, I’d take them to Komodo for dinner, where the ambiance and music are fantastic. Afterwards, we’d enjoy drinks at La Neta’s bar before finishing the night at Double D’s, the best bar in Dallas.
