We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria Boynton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexandria, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The Seed of Independence:
I’m an only child and unfortunately my parents are gone, and I have 3 children. There’s no family support, just me! Failing isn’t an option, looking for others to help wasn’t an option, striving forward & persevering is the only option.
The idea of being my own boss, calling the shots, and building something from the ground up was incredibly appealing, exciting, but terrifying as I use the boot strap method to entrepreneurship. I craved the freedom to pursue my vision and create a work environment that reflected my values. Witnessing & experiencing the trials and tribulations of traditional employment structures solidified this desire for autonomy. There was a growing sense of “no room to fail” in the sense that working for someone else, living paycheck to paycheck and not being there for my children wasn’t an option, and I felt a strong urge to take control of my life & professional destiny.
Opportunity Knocking:
When I originally moved to Texas from Oklahoma, I was fleeing a domestic violence situation and only had the clothes on my back, a totaled truck that barely ran & $20.00 to my name, but I was safe. I stayed with friends of friends since I knew no one in Texas, but quickly made connections and friends that saw the passion, fire, and potential inside of me and wanted to be my community of support & cheerleaders. Even though I was a business coach/mentor and had helped start businesses prior to moving here, my confidence was extremely low and I no longer felt that I fit the image of a business consultant. One of my very first friends I made in Texas was a women’s empowerment/ life coach, The Magnetic Queen, she got my mind back on track in exchange for helping her business wise.
I had to make money and make it fast all while flying under the radar because I didn’t want to be found or put anyone’s safety at risk that was helping me along the way. I quickly enrolled into a school offering cosmetic injections, loved it, then did the advance training class, I then started working at the school and overtime became an instructor. Right when things were starting to look up and I was able to get ahead, here comes a curve ball… no job security, go figure. I had gotten off the path & my purpose that was intended for me and this was my humbling reality check. They say when one door closes another one opens and that’s always rang true in my life. My survival mode kicked in and back to the drawing board, it was all or nothing.
The market seemed ripe with possibilities, but I just wasn’t landing anything. I saw opportunities that others were overlooking, gaps that my I could fill, I have all this start up business experience & now med spa experience and just wanted to combine the two, something that I loved. A strong entrepreneurial spirit propelled me forward & in combination of being raised to not take no for an answer. It wasn’t just about chasing a dream of having freedom and financial stability, but about capitalizing on my passion and the growing market needs.
Calculated Risks, Big Rewards:
My very first salon/spa business consulting client Riley Erin Esthetics, is also a dear friend of mine and she’s probably my number 1 fan. She had just bought a preexisting salon/spa and needed my help with the business legality of things. She said “sister I got you, if you got me!”
I now have AB Botox Queen, which is my passion and as an aesthetic injector, it’s only up from here. I get to travel all over Texas and get to do what I love and that is making women feel more confident.
Starting your own business is inherently risky. There’s no safety net, no guaranteed paycheck. But the potential rewards – the satisfaction of building something successful, the freedom to innovate, and the impact I could create – far outweighed the fear. Again, it was an all-or-nothing proposition, and I was willing to take that calculated risk to achieve the success I envisioned & now I had a teammate.
In a Nutshell:
Discontent with traditional work structures, lack of job security, coupled with a strong sense of opportunity and a burning desire for independence, fueled my decision to become an entrepreneur. It was a forced leap made out of survival mode, but every lesson got me closer and closer to my life path & goals. This was a chance to create something meaningful and achieve success on my own terms.

Unveiling the Passion and Purpose Behind the Persona of AB Botox Queen
I have built a reputation as AB Botox Queen, but there’s more to my story than injections.
AB Botox Queen persona is a fun and catchy way to represent my expertise in cosmetic injectables. But at the heart of it all, I’m a passionate advocate for empowering people to look and feel their best.
My journey wasn’t always glamorous as I previously explained my journey. This experience instilled in me a deep desire to help others achieve a sense of confidence and self-assurance through aesthetics.
While injectables like Botox can be a powerful tool, they’re not a one-size-fits-all solution. My true passion lies in enhancing existing natural-looking beauty, creating a personalized plan, or a focus on client education. I believe in building trust with my clients, understanding their unique goals, and creating a personalized treatment plan that complements their natural beauty & goals.
Being AB Botox Queen goes beyond injections. It’s about inspiring confidence, challenging beauty standards, and promoting body positivity?. I strive to create a welcoming and informative space where people can feel comfortable discussing their aesthetic concerns and exploring their options.
Ultimately, I want the world to know that I’m more than just an injector. I’m a dedicated professional who combines expertise with genuine care for my clients. My goal is to empower them to embrace their individuality and radiate confidence from the inside out.
