We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Moushegian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, why did you pursue a creative career?
I think for us it was just fun! We all have the talent and vision to do music and we figured why not!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So many challenges came our way, including the struggle to keep the band alive, finding practice spaces and keeping band members. I think what’s sets us apart is that we don’t believe to stick to any particular mold. One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is determination is the true driver of success.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Fort Worth has so much so offer! To get brunch or lunch, Mash’d is a super awesome place with great drinks. One of our other favorite bars is a placed called Proper on Magnolia Street. Both are great places!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Jordan Castleberry. He was the person that helped bring this band together. Alex had met him at a Guitar Center and they decided to join a band and jam. He helped come up with some of the songs on our debut EP The Broken Outlet. Had it not been for Jordan the band wouldn’t exist.
