We had the good fortune of connecting with Adedoyin Falana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adedoyin, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Real Estate is heavily reliant on research. From the outside it looks super fun, which it is. However, we’re expected to be experts in our field in order to provide the best service to our clients. This allows us to gain their trust and be able to help them as much as possible.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been full of growth. What sets me apart is my willingness to continue learning the ins and outs of the real estate business. What I am most proud of are my past clients whom I have been able to help. Being a part of their home ownership journey is an honor.

I got to where I am today because of my work ethic. Of course it wasn’t easy, much learning was needed and still is today. I have been able to overcome challenges by asking questions and being coachable. Some of the lessons I have learned have been the importance of understanding contracts, how to negotiate, and how to service your clients.

What I would love for the world to know is that I am an agent who puts his clients best interest first. The most important thing to me is ensuring that my clients are able to achieve their real estate goal.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First place I would have to take them would be Daq & Mag Daiquiri’s. They have the best oxtails and fish, not to mention the great daiquiris that are served there.

Following that we would have to go over to Height’s District. They have the best clothing brands I’ve seen along with the fact that the entire store is set up like the illusion museum except more so for content than visual tricks. It’s a very dope spot and each room has its own theme.

Another place you have to go to when you’re in the city is Deep Ellum. There’s several bars, restaurants, and places to visit there, you can spend a day there and have a wonderful time.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family is my biggest support system. Growing up my mother was a real estate agent, and she’d take my sister and I along with her to showings and open houses. This sparked my interest in real estate. Once I obtained my license my mother, father, and step-mother have been nothing but a huge support in my efforts. Giving me advice, tips, and sharing their knowledge of real estate. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for them.
