We had the good fortune of connecting with Guacamole Travel MX (Aarón Ruiz) and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Guacamole, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
For the content creatros not all is happiness at the moment to create and take pictures or videos in the countries were we-re. The reality is in order to create a good memories for our viewers, we need to prepare and investigate about the destiny that we are planing to go. But at the same time, is so enriching to discover ways to live, differetn perspectives of mind and also, a liitle risk when we walk through places not so safe.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m Guacamole Travel MX. Along my life, I’ve been the oportunity to visit more than 19 countries where I’ve tried to live the best of those countries, the reality of the people to discover the magnificente of the people of our world. The idea of Guacamole Travel MX started in 2016 in Barcelona, Spain after a visit to one of my best friends, Bernat. I wanted to share with my friends the experiences in different parts of the world because I’m a convinced person that all people can go to another country if they proposed it. No matter money, Language and other factor, the most important thing is that WE WANNA GO!
With the project I have had the opportunity to live in 3 different countries, live unimaginable experiences such as meeting HH. Dalai Lama, enjoy a traditional Italian wedding, try to speak Gaelic in Ireland and share a meal with a local Moroccan family.

All of this was not easy. At first, the main challenge was financing, since plane tickets are not usually that cheap, accommodation and other aspects that with inexperience are more difficult. But now, everything is a little easier, because experience allows me to search for the best period to buy tickets, decide the best part to go, but it took me about 3 years to find out (and I’m still discovering).

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Let’s talk about my state, Guanajuato, Mexico. First of all, arrive to Bajio International Airport.

The first day we’ll walk through city center. Visit the City Hall of Leon, the Metropolitan Cathedral, “Expiatory Temple” and its catacombs. Close here, we try a typical refreshing drink called “Cebadina” and then walk to the iconic “Calzada Arch”.
Let’s take a lunch! The ideal site is the restaurant called “360 Sky”, wich is located next to the Leon Stadium, house of the local Soccer team.

The second day I recommend to take a breakfast in the restaurant called Hacienda San Cristóbal, former house of the Former President of Mexico Vicente Fox, and then, go to Guanajuato city wich take around 30 minutes by car.
There we walked through the city, visit the Juarez Teather, go by cable car to the statue called “El Pipila” and has the best view of the city. Then, back to the city center, take a “walking and singing” tour through the alleys of the city with a group of singers called “estudiantina”, the best way to discover the city.

The third day we can visit the city of San Miguel de Allende, their Parish and took a Lot of pictures with the stunning views. There, we can take a lunch in the best restaurants around the state, so the fun and good eating is guaranteed.

Finally, it’s time to go shopping! Back to Leon, could go to mall specialized to products with leather, remember that Leon is well recognized for the leather industry.
