We had the good fortune of connecting with Vicki Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vicki, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is highly something that I always encourage when it comes to doing something you love. If I hadn’t taken the risk that I honestly have been taking throughout my life, I wouldn’t know what all I’m capable of accomplishing. From starting my own business to becoming a blogger/video creator and a influencer. Sometimes we just have to risk it even if it’s one thing that you are afraid of not succeeding in. Taking risks have placed me in positions that have transformed into blessings. And I don’t regret any.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Before I became a business woman I started putting my passion in becoming a video creator. As a mom and a parent I just started to look into doing more in giving other parents ideas of things to do with their children around the city. Activities, events etc. so we created our YouTube channel. Our channel was my first hands experience on creating content. I am very proud of what we created because to me this opened doors for many things for me. That’s when I started to see others were noticing my creativity. I took that and just started running with it. My Instagram is growing and brands have started reaching out, and that’s how I started to create my business, from all the brands I was starting to connect with. I’ve learned to never give up even when I’m tired and restless. I’ll tell you that none of it is easy. I work 24/7 but the blessings of one day being able to give my family everything they deserve is what keeps me pushing. Everyone who sees me knows me as the Youtuber/Blogger and I always smile, but I tell them “I’m not trying to be famous, I honestly just want to be blessed enough to bless others one day”.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omg the list can go on.. I really enjoy the downtown Dallas area. Of course the museum of art is very Interesting. Dallas farmers market is also one of my favorites. Dallas Arboretum

Texas de brazil is one of my favorite evening places to eat

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My followers/supporters have a huge part in making my goals come true.. They encourage me and are always very supportive. Without my community and supporters I wouldn’t be where I am at now. So for them, I am super thankful.
