We had the good fortune of connecting with Maya Parramore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maya, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
It puts a smile on your face. Whether I’m doing a look for Instagram or doing a glam look for someone’s special night, my services will have you feeling confident and beautiful. A lot of women struggle with confidence and feel insecure about certain facial features. My business uplifts spirits and enhances your beauty.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am very passionate when it comes to my craft. My creativity and drive to make people happy is what sets me apart from others.Practice, dedication, and patience got me where I am today. No, it was not easy. I had to overcome the challenges by not overthinking, remaining positive and remembering my goals. The most important lesson I’ve learned is to never second guess yourself and just go for it. The only person that can hold you back from being successful is yourself. I want the world to know that I am passionate about my craft. Make up is art and your face is your canvas. Getting where I am today did not happen overnight. I can’t wait to show you guys what I have in store!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would go to painting with a twist, go karting, top golf and probably the mall. We have to eat at pluckers, that’s one of my favorite restaurants.
Bar hopping on 7th street, Downtown Fort Worth is a must.
I would for sure take my bestie to the xoxo dining room in Dallas. The drinks are bomb, the place is beautiful and perfect for pictures. They also have a lounge at night that’s really fun.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout out to my close friends and family who push me to do better. I also want to give a special shout out to my fans on Instagram! All the love, inspiration and encouragement keeps me going and I appreciate it so much!
