We had the good fortune of connecting with Dontez Fant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dontez, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I think we chose an artistic & creative brand because its something that gives us a way to express ourselves through more than just words with our own unique twist. It’s also something that represents us & what our brand stands for through visual representation and the name itself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I would have to say that the the progress we’ve made this far is the biggest accomplishment. We started off with 6 shirts as samples and the brand just kind of took off since lol ! Nothing worth having is going to come easy so I think we just kind of keep that mentality along with faith & passion to build the brand. We just want everyone to be able to relate, understand and appreciate the brand as much as we do. Everyone has their own interpretation of what “ Slow Motion” means to them!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would have to say downtown Dallas lol there’s plenty to do plenty bars, good places to eat and good vibes. As a business owner in the same profession I’d take them to the warehouse whole sale just to get a feel of doing business in new places.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We have to thank any and everybody that’s supports the brand! From customers, online shares, shoutouts, our vendors , anybody who’s reached out to us to network or has responded to us. We appreciate it all!
