Hi Charity, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
At a very young age I struggled with self love, I had a problem with pointing out the smallest things that I hated about myself. The world’s definition of beauty is based on a person’s physical form and neglects the internal beauty. They tell you that you are not beautiful unless you look like this or that and I was tired of it. I finally opened my eyes and saw myself for who I truly was a beautiful individual inside and out with a brilliant mind and a heart of gold. Starting this beauty brand wasn’t just about physical beauty, I wanted my customers to feel highly of themselves inside and out, no matter what the world says you are beautiful and as long as you remember that nothing can stop you.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business Charity Co. Collection consists of cosmetics products. Starting a business was one of the biggest accomplishments I ever did but, I was also scared. I wanted to give my customers the best quality they could get so a lot of dedication and sleepless nights were present during the process. One of the biggest lessons I have learned most of all is to never throw in the towel, it may be hard when you are putting everything together but the results are beautiful and the smile on your customers faces make you forget the bad days. My brand stands out because I am showing my customers love and positivity through my business, I want them to feel my appreciation for them and help them gain as much self love and confidence as they can. This world is cruel but it is never too much to spread love and that is my main goal. I want the world to know that my brand is not just about making money, I am establishing a foundation and being a voice for all the women/ men who are scared to show their talents.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to have fun, so my idea would be going out to malls, arcades, museums and food spots. We have six flags, round one, main event and etc. The mall I would probably visit first is the Galleria in Dallas, Tx very beautiful and has a major variety of stores. I strongly recommend going to the Grand Lux Cafe for really good food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost God is the reason why I see nothing but sunny days now, he finally made me see that there was more to life than what I saw. He blessed me and kept me through the hard times and I could never say thank you enough. My family also has played a big part in my life. They gave me so much love and encouragement throughout the years which Is why I am such a young strong female now. Without their words of wisdom or hugs and kisses I would not be here today accomplishing my dreams.
