We had the good fortune of connecting with James Faison and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi James, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of TexasRanked is probably the authenticity, uniqueness, and our overall intention. These points have helped forge our brand forward and it also comes across to our viewers in the purest of ways. There are so many who have started after us that try to use our formula but do not get the same results because they do not have the right intentions. Loving to help people get where they want to get is at the core of TexasRanked.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
TexasRanked has carved its name in the hearts of those who love Texas sports because we stay focused on whats important. We don’t cover athletes for views or clicks like most of our competitors, we focus on finding the athletes who have a love for their sport and want to turn that love into a profession. We’ve grown faster than many in our field because we stay true to whats important, why we started. We got started so that we could help athletes get where they want in their respective sport by reporting what agents and recruiters want with no fluff added. We started TexasRanked to report on athletes who are underserved. The 99% of sports media companies focus on the 1% while we focus on the 99%.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The people who follow and support our brand deserve all the praise. We wouldnt be here if it wasn’t for them! We do 40k views a day so we want to thank the 400k people who chime in to share our love for Texas athletes!
