We had the good fortune of connecting with Trevor Cochran and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trevor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I am a terrible employee was my first thought when building my business. I like to work smart and without limitations, meaning without having a celling.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My business focuses on educating people on human mechanics. Injuries don’t just happen there created therefore they can be prevented. Problem is people don’t know how to use their bodies. Fitness is the one industry without a true standard therefore it always hard selling new things when they don’t see the problem with the old things. I believe people should know a story never ends so you have to keep working until you’re dead.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Deep Ellum is similar to that of Kansas City’s west port where I’m from and where most of my friends would come from to visit. Velvet taco is probably the only place I would take them being most are super food critics. All of my friends know all I do is work so we would be hanging out in front of the computer working on something or learning something more than likely.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I actually did a video with my grandparents being I’m often asked about my confidence when it comes to things. Since I Was two years of age I couldn’t accept being told No! I believe people have open up doors along the road but they only open up a door to a stranger when a stranger adds value. My purpose everyday is to be of value in my own life therefore indirectly I’m advantages to those around me. I thank God for a creative working high functioning mind but I refuse to be told no or to stop. So like snoop said I’m just going to thank me for continuing to press forward no matter what is happening.
