We had the good fortune of connecting with Ezra Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ezra, how does your business help the community?
The Fstate: Where Creative Citizens Rise is a cultural agency redefining who holds power in fashion, media, and culture—globally, remotely, and on the ground in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and emerging creative capitals worldwide.

Founded to expand access, visibility, and opportunity, The Fstate exists to serve creatives who have been historically excluded from luxury fashion ecosystems and cultural decision-making. At its core, The Fstate reframes who gets seen, heard, funded, and sustained, placing underrepresented talent at the center of cultural authority.

Specializing in fashion public relations (PR), creative talent management, and cultural strategy, The Fstate champions cultural and emerging creatives by providing what talent alone is rarely given: structure, storytelling, and systems. Through high-fashion campaigns, editorial publishing, strategic communications, and brand positioning, we transform raw potential into enduring careers across fashion, media, and entertainment.

Our work disrupts an industry built on sameness. Through global cultural storytelling, The Fstate elevates overlooked voices into positions of influence—reshaping how beauty, identity, leadership, and value are defined in contemporary culture. We don’t chase trends. We build narratives that move markets, influence audiences, and shift perception.

The Fstate’s impact is also economic. Through the Fstate Creative Talent Development Pipeline, brand storytelling mentorship, and AI-powered creative business tools, we reduce barriers to entry in luxury markets. Creatives are equipped with education, strategy, and scalable systems to monetize their work, build intellectual property, and achieve long-term financial stability. Creativity becomes capital. Talent becomes enterprise.

Community care anchors everything we do. Through mentorship networks such as the Carlos Vincent Imagery Model/Muse Development Program and the Hems & Brims Mentorship Program, alongside industry alliances including The Non Gatekeepers, The Black Excellence Society, Respect the Publicist and Fashion Minority Alliance, we build pathways rooted in support and access.

Initiatives like Culture Fashion Week: Red Letters—a fashion-centered HIV/AIDS awareness platform using art, runway, and storytelling to confront stigma, advance health equity, and support mental wellness, particularly within Black communities. These spaces cultivate belonging, leadership, and collective healing.

The Fstate approaches innovation with integrity. By responsibly integrating AI, fashion, and cultural intelligence, the Fstate ensures technology serves humanity, not the other way around. Every initiative is designed to honor identity, amplify impact, and build legacy.

In essence, the Fstate is a cultural agency that transforms creativity into access, culture into capital, and stories into systems—uplifting communities and shaping the future of fashion and culture for generations to come.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Fstate exists to amplify cultural storytelling, elevate diverse fashion talent, and challenge the narrow narratives that have long defined the fashion industry. What sets us apart is our belief that fashion is not just visual — it is emotional, cultural, and deeply human. Every campaign, partnership, and story we create is rooted in meaning, not trend.

As the Creative Executive Officer, I built the Fstate through resilience, vision, and lived experience. I bring over two decades of global fashion expertise, blending editorial storytelling, talent development, and cultural brand strategy to help brands and creatives build legacies rather than chase moments. As Editor-in-Chief of theFstate Magazine, I transform visibility into influence and style into story.

The journey wasn’t easy. The Fstate was born from seasons of instability, personal loss, and rebuilding. My leadership is shaped by overcoming profound challenges, including the stigma of an HIV diagnosis and recovery from personal upheaval. Those experiences sharpened my mission: to create work that heals, uplifts, and opens doors for voices often overlooked.

My work spans international publications, campaigns, and collaborations with respected figures across fashion, music, and film, including Jason Lee (Hollywood Unlocked), Justin Haynes (Global Independent Designer JUS10H, Vice Chairman Tokyo Fashion Council, Vice President West Africa Fashion Council), Brittany Diego (Fashion Mentor Co, Forbes 30 Under 30), Dana Isaiah (Manager to Jordin Sparks & Elijah Blake), Norman Towns (Him, Insecure), Miko Underwood (Oak and Acorn-Only for the Rebelles), Lewis Beilharz, Austin Sexton (Platinum Producer), Tyler Jacob (Recording Artist), Yvesmark Chery (Supermodel), Jeremy Copeland (Celebrity Choreographer), and Chukwudi Iwuji (Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3). Selected from over 500 applicants for the inaugural Black Queer Creative Cohort (GLAAD, Gilead Sciences, Crocs) affirming my commitment to cultural representation.

That purpose lives fully within Culture Fashion Week: Red Letters, a fashion-centered HIV/AIDS awareness initiative honoring Black communities through storytelling, education, and cultural impact.

What I want the world to know is simple:
I don’t just follow formulas — I design blueprints for cultural impact.
At the heart of everything I do is love, style, culture and the one truth my mantra to the world: “Know that you are LOVE and loved.”

If you or your brand is ready to:
* Command editorial credibility
* Build emotional authority through storytelling
* Elevate visibility in fashion’s global conversation and seeks to make an impact.

Then it’s time to work with the Fstate. Let’s make your brand the next cultural headline.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
“Few places capture my vibe like the Nylo Hotel in Los Colinas — stylish, modern, and always inspiring. Fridays call for catfish at Ellis Barbecue or a road trip to Casa Jacaranda in Venus for truly authentic Mexican cuisine. When I’m not exploring the Dallas art scene, scouring for venues, and hunting for the next creative fashion talent… you might just find me digging for vintage gems at Buffalo Exchange or shopping the collections at NorthPark.”
