We had the good fortune of connecting with Bri Bakhashab-Hernández and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bri, what is the most important factor behind your success?
On a personal level, the most important factor behind my success is seeing myself as someone who is capable of being successful. It starts with belief, the belief that “I can.” I don’t need permission from anyone to listen to my calling. When I trust my intuition, and listen closely to the whispers that divine source and ancestors share, everything aligns.

As a brand, the most important factor behind my success is you, the reader who shares my work, past clients who refer me, and other leaders who partner with me for events, invite me to panels, seminars, and retreats to share my wisdom. My brand and my work continue to grow from a place of service, community, and alignment.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is all about soul reconnection. I guide people back “home” to themselves, to that deep place where clarity, peace, and wholeness live. When clients leave my sessions, they often describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more at peace.

What sets my work apart is that I don’t just hold a session and send people on their way. I create community. After the work we do together, clients have a space to return to. A place where they can continue processing and integrating what arises in their healing. My work isn’t just a service; it’s a transformation.

My paternal grandmothers were plant medicine women, and my lineage has bestowed upon me something I did not ask for, a gift I now carry forward with honor and responsibility. My work is rooted in more than “wellness trends.” It is grounded in ancestral wisdom and in the remembrance of who we truly are as human consciousness living on this planet.

When you see me, know that you are entering a healing current that has been alive long before me and will continue long after me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting, we’d start with a visit to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, soaking in the beauty of nature, we would visit Niramit for the ultimate reset, a massage paired with an energy healing session and reading. Afterward, we’d eat, if we’re craving Mexican food and a little karaoke, we’re heading straight to Cruzitos Cocina Mexicana. If the craving is for oxtail with a side of karaoke, then it’s Fusion Vibes. We would then dance off the food coma in the Gayborhood for laughs, movement, and all the gags.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My business thrives on community and partnership, so I want to make a special shoutout to my new partnership with NIRAMIT, the highest-rated authentic Thai massage spa in Plano. I’m now offering all one-on-one, in-person sessions out of our shared space at NIRAMIT. Guest are now able to receive energy work with me and then step right into the best massage in town. Together, we’re creating a full experience of healing and restoration of mind, body, and soul.
