We had the good fortune of connecting with DFW Checklist and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DFW Checklist, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important thing for us is to showcase places we genuinely enjoy. We came up with the checklist concept because it means a place has all the marks that define quality for us. Authenticity, trial and error are key to our metrics, while discipline and creativity are essential for standing out from other content creators in DFW. A unique style and voice are just as important.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Trying to stand out from other creators is hard in 2025, but there’s always a way to make it your way—and that’s something not everyone has. Of course, there are always challenges when it comes to creativity, but overall, having a solid strategy and keeping at it are the keys to success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely check out our lists—everyone has different tastes! DFW is home to a diverse array of international cuisines that are worth trying. I’d say: let’s get breakfast at Curuba in Allen, grab a coffee at White Box Roastery in McKinney, head to Cris and John in Dallas for lunch, enjoy dessert at La Rêve, and finish the day with a walk at the mall or a park. Buy hey, there are SO many places to try that you will need at least a week in the area!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our whole team is behind this! We have multiple content creators who try and review different spots in Dallas. We also have to give credit to our editors and idea developers who create the strategies behind our content.
