We had the good fortune of connecting with Jarmarion Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jarmarion, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea behind Versatile Touch Beard Oil and Moisturizer stemmed from a desire to bridge the gap between beauty, health, and science—specifically for men. I noticed that while grooming products existed, very few truly addressed the educational aspect of beard care or promoted it as a form of wellness and self-respect. I wanted to create something that offered more than surface-level results—a product that educates, empowers, and elevates.

My own beard journey was the catalyst. I dealt with patchiness and razor bumps for years, and through research, consistency, and the right ingredients, I began to see real transformation. As my beard grew healthier and fuller, people started noticing—and asking questions. The compliments and curiosity I received affirmed the idea that there was space for something meaningful in the men’s grooming industry. That encouragement helped me realize I had a story worth bottling.

Versatile Touch isn’t just about beard oil; it’s about legacy. It’s a reflection of pride, self-care, and timeless masculinity. Every formula is handmade with intention, blending luxurious ingredients with purpose. The brand is built on authenticity, longevity, and a commitment to providing a one-of-a-kind grooming experience that doesn’t mimic anyone else. It’s unique. It’s enduring. It’s timeless.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a U.S. Army Veteran with over 10 years of experience in healthcare, spanning roles in medical operations during my military service to administrative, patient care, and IT roles in the civilian sector. My passion has always been people. I view the medical field as more than a career—it’s a calling and a form of ministry. Being part of someone’s healing process, seeing them grow stronger over time, and knowing I contributed to that transformation—that’s what captured me from the beginning.

My journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been divinely guided. I firmly believe in the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” That scripture has carried me through seasons of uncertainty and reminded me to trust the process, even when it didn’t make sense. It’s a truth that has shaped both my personal and professional life.

Professionally, I’ve learned the importance of accountability—owning my growth, releasing what I can’t control, and being bold enough to go after the dreams God placed in my heart. I began to understand that I could either stay stuck in past disappointments or choose to rewrite my narrative with intention and faith. A major turning point came when I began living by the Serenity Prayer, which helped renew my mindset and ultimately redirected my path toward purpose.

That same heart is poured into Versatile Touch. This brand was built with intention, grounded in service, and led by faith. It’s not just a line of beard care products—it’s an experience rooted in love, discipline, integrity, and legacy. Every bottle represents more than grooming; it reflects a journey of transformation, obedience, and excellence.

When people encounter Versatile Touch, I want them to know they’re experiencing a brand that honors God, serves others, and doesn’t just follow trends—it sets its own standard. This is more than beard care. It’s a testimony in a bottle.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit, I’d be intentional about curating a week that captures the heart and soul of the Dallas–Fort Worth area—mixing culture, fun, food, faith, and family.

Day 1 (Sunday)
We’d start the week strong with a worship experience at One Community Church. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by community, and it sets the tone for the rest of the trip. After church, we’d grab brunch at Tupelo Honey, then take a relaxing stroll through Klyde Warren Park and snap some photos downtown.

Day 2 (Monday)
We’d spend the day exploring the Perot Museum of Nature and Science—an incredible experience for anyone who appreciates innovation and discovery. Then we’d head to Reunion Tower for dinner with a view of the Dallas skyline. The 360-degree rotating restaurant is perfect for a special night out.

Day 3 (Tuesday)
A cultural deep dive at the African American Museum of Dallas would be next, followed by some sightseeing in Deep Ellum—home to vibrant street murals, live music, and some of the city’s best food trucks. We’d grab dinner at Terry Black’s Barbeque (some of the best BBQ in town) and chill at a local lounge afterward.

Day 4 (Wednesday)
Midweek thrill? Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. Whether we’re roller coaster junkies or just people watchers, it’s an all-day adrenaline-filled blast. On the way back, we’d stop by Texas Live! for drinks and good eats.

Day 5 (Thursday)
This day would be more laid-back. We’d spend time shopping at the Galleria Dallas—a great place for fashion, skating, or just enjoying the upscale atmosphere. Dinner would be at Fogo de Chao to round off a shopping filled day.

Day 6 (Friday)
This would be all about connection. I’d host a seafood boil and fish fry kickback with close friends and family—good music, laughter, games, and great food. These are the moments that matter most, and they give visitors a true taste of Southern hospitality and community.

Day 7 (Saturday)
Before wrapping up the trip, we’d revisit any spots that stood out or take a scenic drive through White Rock Lake or the Dallas Arboretum. We’d end the day with a chill evening at Legacy West in Plano—great restaurants, live music, and a cool ambiance to reflect on the week.

In my eyes, the best trips are a mix of faith, fun, food, and meaningful connection. Dallas–Fort Worth has so much to offer, but the memories made with loved ones are what truly make it unforgettable.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I want to give all credit and glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, I am nothing—and Versatile Touch would not exist. His guidance, grace, and provision are the foundation upon which everything in my life and business is built.

I also want to give a heartfelt thank-you to my family. Their unwavering support, spiritual grounding, and constant encouragement have been instrumental in my journey. From instilling the Word of God in me at an early age to pushing me forward when I felt discouraged, they’ve helped shape me into the man I am today.

Lastly, I’m deeply grateful to my loved ones and close supporters who have stood by Versatile Touch since day one. Their honest feedback, thoughtful critiques, and belief in the vision have played a huge role in the growth of this brand. It means everything to have a community that not only cheers you on but also challenges you to be better.
