Meet Polly Hamp | Mind/Body Coach | TDAH! CEO | Licensed NLP Master Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Polly Hamp and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Polly, what do you attribute your success to?
I am my first client.
TDAH! was born from the fire I had to walk through myself. This isn’t just information I studied—this is transformation I lived and live out today.
I didn’t just heal by reading books or getting certified (though I did that too). I healed by doing the messy, painful work I now teach. Every tool, every framework, every mind/body shift I share—I’ve tested it in real life, in real pain, with real results.
That’s what makes TDAH! different. People don’t need more theory. They need truth, heart, and someone who’s been where they are. I show up with scars, not just scripts—and that’s why it works.
I don’t just teach people to Think Differently About Health…
I embody it.

What should our readers know about your business?
What’s the most important factor behind your success/the success of your brand?
I am my first client.
TDAH! was born from the fire I had to walk through myself. Coming from a background of childhood sexual abuse, addiction, and a destructive past, this isn’t just information I studied—this is transformation I lived, and still live out today.
For the past 8 years, I’ve had the honor of working one-on-one with clients in my husband and I’s counseling center, Think Differently Counseling. I’ve helped my clients navigate the deep and often invisible impact of CPTSD and PTSD and guiding them to heal and find real freedom. Not just freedom from pain but a life full of wholeness and joy.
This isn’t just a job—it’s a mission I know personally. I didn’t just heal by reading books or getting certified (though I did that too). I healed by doing the messy, brave, uncomfortable work I now guide others through.
Every tool, every framework, every mind/body shift I teach has been tested in real life, in real pain, with real results.
That’s what sets TDAH! apart. People don’t need more theory—they need truth, heart, and someone who’s walked the path ahead of them. I don’t show up with just scripts—I show up with scars. And that’s why this work changes lives.
I don’t just teach people to Think Differently About Health…
I embody it.
Tell us about TDAH! and what sets it apart from others.
TDAH! stands for Think Differently About Health—and that’s exactly what we do. We’re not here to sell perfection, diets, or quick fixes. We’re here to help people rebuild their relationship with their body, their story, and their self-worth from the inside out.
What sets TDAH! apart is that it’s not just a program—it’s a lived philosophy. I didn’t create it from a classroom. I created it from the trenches of trauma, burnout, body shame, and healing. Every tool, every process, every piece of our curriculum has been road-tested through real life—first by me, and now by the many who’ve gone through it and live it out everyday.
We blend neuroscience, mindset rewiring, and radical self-compassion in a way that feels deeply human. We teach people how to heal without hustling, and grow without grinding themselves down. TDAH! isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about finally coming home to yourself.
I’m so proud of every single client who chooses to bravely step into a new, transformational way of healing—mind, body, and soul. It lights me up to hear stories from people who’ve spent years hating their bodies… only to finally find deep connection, nervous system healing, and a sense of freedom they never thought possible.
This work is personal. It’s powerful. And I absolutely LOVE what I get to do.
I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart—building different businesses in different seasons of my life. And I’ll be honest, the road hasn’t always been smooth. Starting and running a company is not for the faint of heart. It’s gritty, stretching, and full of unknowns… but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I love the process—creating, learning, growing, dreaming, and yes, even “failing.”
But in my world, there’s no such thing as failure—only feedback. Everything is information. And when you live with a lens of curiosity, even the hard parts become part of the adventure.
What do you want the world to know about you and your brand?
I want the world to know that you have more power than you’ve been led to believe. TDAH! exists to help people reclaim that power—by thinking differently about health, healing, and who they are.
This isn’t just a business for me. It’s personal. I lived disconnected from my body, trapped in cycles of shame, and chasing fixes that never worked. But I found another way—a way rooted in compassion, curiosity, and true mind-body connection. And now I get to help others do the same.
TDAH! is not about changing who you are. It’s about remembering who you’ve always been beneath the survival. It’s about equipping people with the tools to heal without hustling and grow without grinding themselves down.
What I want people to know is: You are wildly capable—and when you’re empowered with the right tools, everything can change.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I grew up in Dallas and graduated from Lake Highlands. I was always a Dallas girl until I moved away and lived in a couple of other states until moving back to the DFW area in 2005. Now I live smack-dab in the middle of both Dallas and Fort Worth and hardly ever venture out to the “big cities”! haha!
I love our little town of Grapevine and would take her to walk the cute downtown of Grapevine then head to the Vin Hotel on Main Street and listen to music. We would also do dinner at Piaf on Main Street (SO GOOD)
I would have to give her a taste of history so I’d take her to Down Town Dallas to visit the JFK museum and stroll Klyde Warren Park
On another day we would head out west and go to the Stock Yards to watch the longhorn cattle drive and go two-stepping at Billy Bob’s under the disco ball saddle. (What’s more Texan than that!?)
Of course we would have to wrap that day up and eat on the patio at Joe T’s.
I would also take her out to go paddle boarding on Grapevine lake early in the morning to see the beautiful wildlife.
Some of my other favorite restaurants are Del Frisco’s Double Eagle in FTW, Terilli’s on lower Greenville in Dallas,
I would love to take her to our amazing museums and go antiquating at several of our area antique malls.
