We had the good fortune of connecting with XLB and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi XLB, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, it’s just in me. By the age of 27, this is already my third business venture. Each step along the way has helped shape my vision, sharpen my approach and most importantly, expand my mindset to embrace collaboration over competition. That shift is a big part of why OTM TV is what it is today.

What started as a simple YouTube reaction channel quickly evolved into something much bigger. I had a vision to build a network, a platform that could host multiple shows and bring different creative voices together under one banner. That vision began to take form once I realized that growth doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens with the right team.

Today, we’ve built a strong foundation with a dedicated crew. I serve as CEO and Founder under the name OTM XLB. We’ve got OTM G3 as our Head of the Creative Department, OTM Crashedout leading our Producers and OTM Bizzy heading up Music Finance. These are more than just titles, each person brings their own unique energy and perspective, which is what gives OTM TV its edge.

This business was born out of passion, vision and the belief that collaboration can turn a spark into a movement. That’s exactly what we’re building with OTM.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
OTM XLB: My art is all about authentic storytelling, whether it’s through music, content or visuals. What sets me apart is the vision. I didn’t just want a reaction channel; I saw the potential to build a full platform. That vision turned into OTM TV and now we’ve got a growing network, multiple shows and a solid team making it happen.

I’m most proud of how organic this has all been. No shortcuts, just passion, consistency and collaboration. It wasn’t easy. I faced setbacks, limited resources and had to learn as I went. The key was mindset and surrounding myself with the right people, shoutout to OTM G3, OTM Crashedout and OTM Bizzy for locking in and helping bring this to life.

The biggest lesson? Bet on yourself and keep going.

I want the world to know that OTM stands for Out The Mudd, we came from the bottom and we’re building something real. This is more than content, it’s a movement.

OTM Crashedout: Anyone and everyone can work to put out good products depending on what the product is, but the key factor for consistent co-signs and recurring business from clients is by keeping a good name. Showing true appreciation for ones that consistently want to spend money on your business. I’ve done music production for over a decade and you won’t find anybody in the state of Texas that claims that I did them wrong by doing bad business or doing shady deals. Keeping a good face can have its challenges throughout the years of staying in business but retaining that always leads to surprise new clients and unexpected co-signs from certain individuals sitting on a higher power.

That alone has led me not only to the work I have now, but the future doors that are opening for me which are in play as I speak just from maintaining a good name and doing consistent good business. So anyone that’s not doing good business with you, feel free to drop them and contact me for your next music production work I’ll get you taken care of.

OTM Bizzy: No risk no rewards but I’m all about taking calculated risks when needed. Taking risk is what got me in the positions that I’m in now both good and bad and in comparison to where I was earlier in life those calculated risks paid off big time. Most recent one I took was switching my businesses from accepting dollar bills into strictly crypto. There’s a list of the currencies my companies accept and I did this earlier this year before Trump signed the Genius act the Big Beautiful Bill and other legislation that sets the ground work for crypto to looked at as a commodity instead of a security. Of course I was met with doubt getting called crazy even lost a few business partners because of it but now those same people are coming back to me to learn about these currencies and the direction the tech space is headed so they too can get ahead of the curve.

OTM G3: I believe taking risks is the number one key ingredient to success. Without risk, there’s no real progress. It’s played a major role in my life by pushing me to be more experimental and open to stepping outside my comfort zone. Taking risks has helped me grow, evolve and create real change in my life. You can’t level up playing it safe and I had to learn that firsthand.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Best place to be is Crashedout Studios. That’s where the team and I conduct all of our business. Make sure you book!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, nobody makes it alone and I’m a firm believer in giving credit where it’s due. First and foremost, I’ve got to shout out my parents. Their support, values and work ethic laid the foundation for everything I do. They’ve always pushed me to dream big but stay grounded and that’s been crucial in every step of my journey.

I also want to give a major shoutout to CrashedOut Productions—OTM Crashedout has been instrumental in shaping the sound and creative direction of our content. Same goes for OTM Bizzy and OTM G3. Bizzy’s been a force behind our music finance game and G3 continues to push creative boundaries that elevate everything we put out. Their commitment and collaboration have helped turn OTM TV from a simple idea into a real platform with real momentum.

This isn’t just my story, it’s a collective effort. I’m proud of the team and grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey.
