Meet IFEOLUWA | Wig seller

We had the good fortune of connecting with IFEOLUWA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi IFEOLUWA, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
“I started my hair brand because I saw a consistent gap in the market for high-quality, long-lasting, and truly authentic hair. I was tired of seeing people, including myself, invest in wigs that didn’t live up to expectations—whether it was shedding, tangling, or just not lasting. I wanted to provide a solution. My goal was to create a brand that prioritizes quality, transparency, and customer satisfaction while helping people feel confident, beautiful, and empowered through their hair. I also wanted to build a legacy, something I could grow over time and eventually scale into a household name in the beauty space.”

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career has been a dynamic blend of strategy, technology, and resilience. I’ve spent years driving impactful solutions in the financial industry — particularly in risk decisioning, product ownership, and data infrastructure. I’ve led major projects including separating fraud and credit risk for more accurate real-time approvals, and migrating legacy systems to cloud platforms like AWS and GCP — all with a focus on optimizing efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect the dots between business goals, technical implementation, and human impact. I don’t just build products — I build solutions that scale, transform teams, and elevate customer trust.
Was it easy? Definitely not. I’ve had to overcome self-doubt, limited representation in rooms where decisions are made, and moments where growth meant outgrowing comfort. But I leaned into every challenge as an opportunity to innovate and lead with purpose. One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned is that clarity of vision, when combined with action and community, is unstoppable.
Outside of corporate, I founded a premium hair brand — driven by the belief that beauty is power and confidence is transformational. It’s more than selling wigs and bundles — it’s about helping people feel like the best version of themselves. I’m proud to be building a brand that uplifts others while also creating a source of generational wealth and independence.
What I want the world to know? I’m a builder. Whether it’s risk systems, inclusive products, or community-powered brands — I’m here to create, scale, and lead with intention.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, trust me — we’d have the time of our lives! I’m all about balance: luxury vibes, great food, cultural gems, and places where you can relax and recharge or turn up and create memories.
Day 1 – Welcome Vibes:
We’d start light with brunch at Bread Winners Café or Yolk in Dallas — because brunch is a lifestyle. Then head to the Dallas Arboretum for fresh air and pretty scenery (aka IG-worthy moments). For dinner, it’s Monarch or Town Hearth — vibey, upscale, unforgettable.
Day 2 – Culture & Creativity:
We’d explore Deep Ellum — street art, unique shops, and live music. Grab tacos at Velvet Taco, and later hit Legacy Hall or a rooftop lounge like Waterproof for food, music, and night views.
Day 3 – Chill & Reset:
Spa day at Hiatus Spa or The Ritz-Carlton Spa, followed by poolside relaxation at The Joule Hotel. For dinner, Nick & Sam’s — because you can’t come to Dallas and not have that experience.
Day 4 – Shop & Slay:
Morning walk through Klyde Warren Park, then head to NorthPark Center or Highland Park Village for luxury shopping. Stop by Drybar or a glam beauty bar for a refresh (maybe even shoot some hair content for my brand). Evening cocktails at The Henry.
Day 5 – Day Trip:
Take a quick day trip to Fort Worth Stockyards or wine tasting in Grapevine. Real southern charm, fun, and something different.
Day 6 – Entrepreneur Energy:
Take them to a local business or vendor event — Black-owned pop-ups, markets, or networking brunches. I’d introduce them to my world — show them my hair brand, creative process, and the behind-the-scenes grind. We’d end the day with a private chef dinner or home-cooked Nigerian food (gotta rep the roots).
Day 7 – Faith & Gratitude:
Sunday service at a dynamic church like The Potter’s House, then an easy, soulful brunch to reflect and wind down. Maybe catch a movie, sip wine, and talk about our future goals and dreams.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
i’m grateful for the huge support of family and friends throughout this journey and being my top clients since the business started.
