Hi Ron, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The inception of Kimber Home Services was deeply rooted in my family’s longstanding connection to the construction industry. From a young age, I was immersed in building and renovation projects, working alongside my grandfather on rental properties and assisting my father, an architect and engineer, in various endeavors. These early experiences instilled in me a profound appreciation for craftsmanship and the significance of fostering enduring client relationships.

As I matured, I became increasingly aware of the misconceptions surrounding home renovations, often perpetuated by television shows that oversimplify the process. I recognized a gap between these portrayals and the reality homeowners face, leading to unrealistic expectations and, at times, dissatisfaction. This realization ignited a passion within me to establish a company that prioritizes transparency, integrity, and customer education.

In 2014, I founded Miears Consulting, LLC, which later evolved into Kimber Home Services. Our mission has always been to demystify the renovation process for homeowners, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in their decisions. We emphasize meticulous planning, collaboration with skilled subcontractors, and a commitment to delivering quality results without cutting corners.

Our approach is centered on building trust within the community. Instead of aggressive marketing tactics, we’ve relied on referrals and repeat clients, reflecting our dedication to customer satisfaction.
