Meet Franklin Davis | Chef

We had the good fortune of connecting with Franklin Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Franklin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business is a bold and exciting journey that requires a positive mindset by embracing the opportunity for growth as well as freedom and control. I wanted to turn my passion into impact. The idea of building something from the ground up, fueled by my own vision and values, was incredibly motivating. I saw an opportunity to not just fill a gap in the market but to create experiences that resonate with people. The freedom to innovate, the challenge of problem-solving, and the chance to grow both personally and professionally excited me. I knew there would be risks, but I believed in the power of resilience and continuous learning. For me, it wasn’t just about starting a business—it was about creating a legacy, making a difference, and doing what I love every single day.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that passion alone isn’t enough—it’s the challenges we face and overcome that shape our path to greatness. My art is not just my passion; it’s my safe space, a reflection of who I am. Like anything meaningful in life, there have been obstacles along the way, but what keeps me grounded and motivated is remembering my ‘why.’ Why I started, why my work stands out, why I find joy in what I do, and why I’m committed to continuing this journey.
My brand is more than just catering; it’s an extension of my artistry and purpose. It’s about creating experiences that bring people together, sharing not just food but a piece of my gift. Every event is an opportunity to connect, inspire, and leave a lasting impression. The lessons I’ve learned resilience, authenticity, and the power of purpose continue to guide me as I grow both personally and professionally.
