We had the good fortune of connecting with Alante Hamlett and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alante, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea behind Always in Profit came from a simple belief: that believing you can is way more profitable than believing you can’t. I wanted to create a business that embodied that mindset—a brand focused on real, sustainable growth and opportunity. For me, being “always in profit” is more than just financial gain; it’s about building something that empowers people to move forward, improve their lives, and feel confident in their potential.
Always in Profit started from my passion for creating value and building wealth in a way that’s accessible and meaningful. My vision is for AIP to grow into services that meet everyday needs—whether through ventures that help people save time, increase financial stability, or improve their communities. My approach is simple: create, innovate, and profit.
At its core, Always in Profit is a brand and a way of life, built on the idea that success is possible for anyone who believes in their potential. AIP is about turning that belief into action, offering tools, services, and experiences that help people stay “in profit” in ways that matter to them.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
AIP Studios is a creative space dedicated to helping artists, entrepreneurs, and creators bring their visions to life. What sets us apart is our commitment to quality, personalized service, and an environment that fosters creativity and growth. We aim to give clients not just a place to record or produce but a space where they feel supported and valued.
I’m proud of the community we’re building at AIP Studios. Seeing clients come back, excited to work with us, and watching their projects evolve has been incredibly rewarding. It wasn’t easy to get here—building a business always has its challenges. There were times when I questioned how to push forward, but focusing on our purpose and being adaptable helped me overcome those hurdles.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that persistence and flexibility go hand in hand. Every setback has been an opportunity to rethink, adjust, and grow stronger. While AIP Studios is just the beginning, it’s built on the same philosophy that will drive our larger vision for the Always in Profit brand. Eventually, I see AIP expanding into other ventures that create lasting value, but for now, our focus is on making AIP Studios a trusted and inspiring place for creatives.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about AIP Studios and the brand, it’s that we’re here to make a meaningful impact. We’re dedicated to helping people succeed and stay “in profit” in ways that matter to them. This is more than a business—it’s a community built on resilience, creativity, and growth.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d make sure they experienced the best of the DFW area. Here’s how the week would go:
Day 1: Exploring Fort Worth
We’d kick things off in the Stockyards for a taste of Texas history—think longhorn cattle drives, rodeos, and local shops. For lunch, we’d hit Joe T. Garcia’s for Tex-Mex and margaritas. Later, we’d check out Sundance Square for dinner and drinks, and maybe catch some live music at Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky-tonk.
Day 2: Arts and Culture
We’d spend the day at the Kimbell Art Museum and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, followed by a stroll through the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Dinner would be at Reata Restaurant for elevated cowboy cuisine and rooftop vibes.
Day 3: Dallas Adventures
We’d head to Dallas and start with the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, then visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza to learn about JFK’s history. For dinner, we’d hit Pecan Lodge in Deep Ellum for some of the best barbecue in Texas, followed by drinks and nightlife at Deep Ellum’s live music venues.
Day 4: Chill and Relax
A chill day exploring Clearfork for some shopping and walking along the Trinity Trails. Lunch would be at Press Café for a laid-back vibe. In the evening, we’d unwind with dinner at Heim Barbecue or Cane Rosso for pizza.
Day 5: AIP Studios and Local Vibes
I’d give them the VIP treatment at AIP Studios DFW, showing them the creative energy we bring to the community. Afterward, we’d grab drinks at Whiskey Garden and hang out with some of the amazing artists, creatives, and personalities in the area.
Day 6: Outdoors and Sports
We’d spend the day outdoors at Lake Grapevine, renting kayaks or jet skis, and then catch a game at AT&T Stadium or Globe Life Field—depending on the season—for some football or baseball action. Dinner would be at Texas de Brazil to cap off the day.
Day 7: Wrapping Up in Style
For the last day, we’d brunch at Brewed, known for its coffee and comfort food, then head to West 7th Street for some last-minute shopping or brewery hopping. We’d finish the trip with dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse for a classic fine-dining experience.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to AIP Studios DFW and the incredible team behind it. Building AIP Studios has been a journey of perseverance, creativity, and vision, and I’m grateful for everyone who’s been part of it. A special recognition goes to Rollin, studio director at AIP Studios who has played a significant role in shaping the day-to-day operations and keeping the studio running smoothly. At the same time, I want to emphasize that this journey has been about more than just one person—it’s been about a collective effort to bring the vision of ‘Always in Profit’ to life. From clients to team members to those who’ve supported me from the beginning, you’ve all contributed to where we are today. Thank you for believing in the vision!
