We had the good fortune of connecting with Will Baffle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Will, why did you pursue a creative career?
To be rich and famous. Just kidding! I have always enjoyed doing something that was considered “out of the box” for work. I enjoy having fun on stage and through circumstances ideas will flow to create new ideas for future shows.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a magician and illusionist which means that I have some “big” tricks. Its a lot of fun to hear people gasp in amazement and get to chat with them afterward. I am excited about being a collector and some of the props from my show date back to the “golden age of magic”. Its great to get them back on stage for todays audiences to enjoy.

I started touring in 2000 when I went across the states onward to Canada. Then I kept getting more requests for shows to where it would fill my schedule. Is it easy? NO! Everyday you have to keep a routine to not only market yourself but then practice new routines and work with your cast on new routines. To overcome the challenges you must just keep pushing forward to learn new things as everything changes around you. One of the lessons I have learned or learning is the changing forms of advertising and marketing. It used to be that you could put posters up or direct mailing and that would be it and now you have social media platforms and you have to learn how each function as they keep changing.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
