We had the good fortune of connecting with Bhavna Batra and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bhavna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a multifaceted decision driven by a combination of personal ambition, professional experiences, and a desire to create meaningful impact. My career began at the young age of 16, and over the years, I gained extensive experience across various roles in administration, sales, and HR. These roles provided me with a comprehensive understanding of business operations and client needs, but I often felt restricted by the limitations and lack of innovation within traditional corporate structures. This sparked the initial thought of creating a venture that could break these boundaries.
My vision for Synerggie was to establish a company that would not only meet but exceed client expectations by delivering high-quality, holistic HR and management consulting services. I believed there was a significant gap in the market for a consulting firm that could offer customized solutions tailored to the unique challenges and goals of each client. This belief became the cornerstone of my business philosophy: to offer unparalleled value and service.
Additionally, I was driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to continuously improve. I wanted to build a company that was dynamic, adaptable, and forward-thinking, capable of evolving with the changing needs of the market. This meant not just staying ahead of industry trends, but actively shaping them through our services and approach. I saw Synerggie as a platform to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
Lastly, the thought of creating a supportive and empowering work environment was a significant motivator. I wanted to build a team of like-minded individuals who shared my passion for excellence and innovation. By fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, I aimed to create a workplace where employees could thrive, grow, and contribute to the company’s success.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art, in many ways, is an extension of my professional ethos and personal passions. As an intuitive energy healer and creative writer, my artistic pursuits are deeply intertwined with my work in HR and management consulting. What sets me apart is my holistic approach, blending creativity with strategic thinking. This fusion allows me to offer innovative solutions that are not only effective but also resonate on a deeper, more intuitive level with my clients. I’m most proud of how I’ve been able to integrate these diverse elements into my work, creating a unique and impactful experience for those I serve.
The journey to where I am today has been anything but easy. It has been filled with countless challenges, from navigating the complexities of starting and growing a business to balancing multiple roles and responsibilities. Each challenge, however, has been a valuable lesson in resilience and adaptability. I have learned to embrace change, stay focused on my vision, and continuously seek new ways to innovate and improve. These experiences have shaped my professional path and fortified my commitment to delivering excellence in everything I do.
Overcoming these challenges required a combination of strategic planning, hard work, and an unwavering belief in my vision. I relied heavily on my support network, including mentors, colleagues, and loved ones, who provided guidance, encouragement, and practical advice. Additionally, my commitment to lifelong learning and professional development has been crucial in staying ahead of industry trends and maintaining a competitive edge. These efforts have not only helped me overcome obstacles but have also propelled me toward new opportunities and achievements.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand, Synerggie, is that we are driven by a passion for excellence and a dedication to making a positive impact. Our story is one of perseverance, innovation, and a deep commitment to client success. We believe in the power of holistic, creative solutions and strive to create meaningful, lasting relationships with our clients. Through Synerggie, I aim to inspire others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction, demonstrating that with the right blend of passion, creativity, and hard work, anything is possible.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Oman, I’d be thrilled to show them the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant experiences that make this country so special. We’d start our week in Muscat, the capital city, where we’d spend the first day exploring the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a magnificent architectural marvel. Afterward, we’d visit the Royal Opera House to catch a performance or simply admire its beautiful design. For dinner, we’d head to Kargeen Cafe, an atmospheric restaurant offering delicious Omani cuisine in a traditional setting.
On the second day, we’d take a scenic drive along the coastal road to Qantab Beach. Here, we’d enjoy a relaxing day by the sea, swimming in the crystal-clear waters and perhaps even taking a boat ride to explore the hidden coves. For lunch, we’d have a picnic on the beach, enjoying fresh seafood from one of the local vendors. In the evening, we’d return to Muscat and dine at The Beach at The Chedi, where we could savor exquisite international cuisine with a view of the ocean.
Midweek, we’d embark on a journey to Nizwa, one of Oman’s oldest cities. We’d explore the Nizwa Fort, a historical site offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. We’d also visit the traditional souk, where my friend could shop for unique souvenirs like silver jewelry, pottery, and spices. For lunch, we’d try local delicacies at a nearby cafe. In the evening, we’d stay at a charming boutique hotel in Nizwa and enjoy a traditional Omani dinner.
The fourth day would be dedicated to adventure. We’d drive to Jebel Shams, the highest peak in Oman, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Arabia.” We’d spend the day hiking and taking in the breathtaking views of the rugged landscape. For lunch, we’d have a picnic on the mountain, surrounded by nature. In the evening, we’d descend to the picturesque village of Al Hamra and stay at a traditional guesthouse, where we’d be treated to authentic Omani hospitality and cuisine.
On the fifth day, we’d head to Wadi Shab, a stunning oasis featuring turquoise pools and waterfalls. We’d spend the day hiking through the wadi, swimming in the natural pools, and marveling at the beauty of this hidden gem. For lunch, we’d enjoy a packed meal by the water. After a day of adventure, we’d return to Muscat and unwind with dinner at Al Angham, a fine-dining restaurant that offers an exquisite Omani menu in an elegant setting.
For our final day, we’d take a leisurely morning stroll through the Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in the Arab world, where we’d shop for any last-minute souvenirs. We’d then visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum to learn more about Omani culture and history. For lunch, we’d stop at a cozy cafe in the Mutrah area. In the afternoon, we’d take a dhow cruise along the Muscat coastline, enjoying the stunning views of the city from the sea. We’d conclude our week with a farewell dinner at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort, where we’d toast to an unforgettable week filled with adventure, culture, and the beauty of Oman.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would dedicate my life, my success and everything to The Universe and it’s magic for pulling the strings and bringing me the people, the situations, the learning lessons it has given and would always keep giving. I am grateful and blessed. It has blessed me with gifts to heal and with that my dream is to support as many people I meet.
