We had the good fortune of connecting with Scarlett Tabor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Scarlett, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My businesses was birthed from pain. The struggles in my marriage caused me to go searching for support that ultimately, I couldn’t find. It was then that I realized that I couldn’t be the only one in a marriage that needed guidance only to find friends and family with narrow-minded views that don’t help. I believe the troubles that I went through in my marriage were a catalyst to start my Life Coaching business for men and women. I already have the experience of working with women of all ages, why not make this an endeavor that will last for years to come?

What should our readers know about your business?
I have been prepared to be a relationship coach for years without even realizing it. I have helped countless women in many different arenas overcome their challenges over the course of 10+ years. I have experienced so many toxic relationships that have taught me the importance of having a healthy one. I have and will always thrive off of seeing men and women free and happy in their personal lives and in their relationship. I am proud of the struggles that I have been through. They have propelled me where I am today. My personal experiences have molded me to become a woman of substance and perseverance. These are the tools that I use to show and help others with similar circumstances. As with all marriages, mine came with its challenges. My experiences forced me to dive into self-exploration. I sought after improving my mental, physical, and spiritual well being. I learned very quickly that in a marriage, you cannot change the your significant other, only yourself. That is where healing is. Once you begin to know and understand yourself, you can begin to know and understand others. Knowing yourself takes precedence over pleasing others because pleasing others could ultimate mean destroying yourself. My goal is to help those that want to seek guidance but don’t have the ability to take that first step. Me being a relationship coach doesn’t mean that I have all of the answers, but it does mean I have the ability to reveal, uncover, unleash and encourage others. I have dedicated my life to helping men, women and couples thrive in the midst of turmoil. My motto; no pressure, no diamonds. Be thankful for pressure.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I absolutely love Fort Worth and the different things that it has to offer! Since most of my friends and family would visit during the holidays, I have a list of must-do things during the holidays. Here are seven places that I would have to take them, not necessarily in this order. 1. Bass Hall 2. Panther Ice at Coyote Drive-In 3. Grand Prairie Lights 4. Hilton Anatole 5. Gaylord Texan 6. Decorators Warehouse 7. Sundance Square Tree Lighting

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To my brother, who has been consistent, loving and tough with me during my tough times. His wisdom and strength has taught me how to set my eyes towards a direction and not to stop unless it’s to add more fuel to my passion. His life is backed my his faith in God, determination for peace, and his refreshing sense of humor that inspires me to keep going. To my sister, who has been encouraging in a way that penetrates my heart and soul. She never ceases to remind me that God is my rock and foundation. Her love for people and her heart for God For that, I am forever grateful. And finally, to my husband, Mark Tabor. Through all of our successes and failures, he has taught me so much about myself and marriage. He always encouraged me to find my passion and to stick with it. The one thing that he has taught me in the course of our marriage, is consistency, His life has been the demonstration of what success should look like by being consistent with his words and actions. Without him, my business would not be what it is today.
