We had the good fortune of connecting with Violet Dominguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Violet, how does your business help the community?
Our insurance agency has helped educate a lot of our clients who are not native English speakers. Many times these clients get left behind wondering what exactly they have purchased and how it will protect their assets. Our agency has English, Spanish and Vietnamese speaking licensed agents that help bridge that communication gap. This is how our agency helps our local community and we are very proud of that.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Coming from a humble background pushed me to work hard in school. I graduated in the Advanced program in High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance. Eventually I obtained my P&C License from the Texas Department of Insurance. Every two years I must complete my Continued Education courses in order to maintain this designation in good standing. Obtaining my education was a challenge, but it taught me that education is something that no one can take away once you have obtained it. I always let kids and young adults know how important education is and to never stop learning!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Fort Worth Stockyards are a must! You can’t miss the daily longhorn drive to truly experience this Texas adventure. Next up would be downtown Dallas because this is where the exciting nightlife, shopping, dining, museums and so much more is at. Dallas is iconic and is known all over the world. Finally the AT&T Stadium is a must…GO COWBOYS!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Family and friends have offered the biggest support in this journey. Many not only support us with encouragement and love, but also with their business! That trust is never taken for granted and is appreciated beyond any words that I can possibly say.
