We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My mind has been brewing the past couple years to do something I love , do something that will bring joy to my clients , do something I can invest in for my future my family and to start my own business .
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am party planner , I create backdrops custom
To clients celebration , custom balloon installations , custom table decor , flower arrangements and event rental pieces like arch walls , flower walls marquees , you name it I have it and can do it . I believe what sets me apart is I like to really connect with my clients and hear their story and why they are going all out for this celebration. With each client they each have the sweetest story and it really touches my heart and gets my creative mind going . I also think what sets me apart gosh with each client you aren’t just another number , payment or client I grow a connection with you and with most of my clients we become friends because of that connection.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh I would definitely take them To workout at Orangetheory in the victory park area dallas has really created a NYC vibe in that area . Dinner at Drakes the food is so yummy and the dj is amazing on Saturdays! I would definitely take them
On Katy trail for a run or walk to take the city in . Northpark
For sure to get some retail therapy , Klyde Warren park
To have a picnic , talk and take the day in .
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like like to thank my grandmother we grew up so closely with her . Since we were small children she was always creative and artsy . Showing my sisters and I all her projects she would do for her Sunday school morning classes , she would show us at home how to decorate for the seasons and DIY projects for home decor and birthday decor. She really instilled that creative side in me and I took with myself into my adulthood . I would also like to thank my husband as before I said my kind had been brewing to get out of my career I was in and really dig/dive deep into my passion and investing in myself , our family and a business . He really encouraged me to do it to believe in myself , believe on my dreams and really push my vision .
