We had the good fortune of connecting with Artist Lin Bey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Artist Lin, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk Taking is no Fear. Re writing your story and walking your path for greatness. I have taken a lot of risk in my life and Career. One transitioning from working to operating a business. From falling flat on my face to getting up brushing off and starting again. That took much risk an also the drive n faith .
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well Sacred Instruments Jewlery is very different than most. We produce n create our own Components. We also specialize n custom wearable art an adornments. 75 % of our work is custom made.
Getting here Professionally was much hardship n tears and joy. Was it easy hmmmm No but so rewarding. I overcame everything thrown my way by taking risk an taking my time an having so much patience n drive and a force within me to push through and smile while doing it.
Lessons learned over the years budget wisely and don’t be afraid to invest in yourself your dreams an goals. Be the better version of yourself no matter the trail.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would have to go to Breakfast at Cafe Brazil, The Breakfast Bar, And Farmers Market For (Lunch) also. The spa (King Spa) that would be a whole day trip. We would check out Deep Ellum Lots to do there. Then walk over to the Atat Center. Hit some local parks for yoga. If I have a weekend event i would bring them with me. Find some poetry spots for Late evening fun.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh, wow where do I start. My family n Supporters with out there visions an ideas n custom orders. I would not venture out to all styles of adornments.
