Meet Jorge Munoz | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jorge Munoz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jorge, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Since I was young I’ve always had a passion in photography. However it grew more in me when I had my daughter; capturing her milestones and every candid moments. It made me grow as a person, photographer and a father. I believe a picture speaks a thousand words and love creating stories through my photography.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a family and lifestyle photographer based in the Dallas -Ft. worth TX area. Since I was young I’ve always had a passion in photography. However it grew more in me when I had my daughter; capturing her milestones and every candid moments. It made me grow as a person, photographer and a father. I have been doing photography for almost 5 years now, and I still learn something new daily. It has not been easy, but I love to shoot and I believe a picture speaks a thousand words and I”m always ready to help create a story through my photography.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a best friend of mine was visiting the area, I would take them out sightseeing around the Dallas area, have them try different restaurants and take them to some local coffee shops, since I love coffee. Even if they don’t like coffee, I would still take them.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my wife for supporting me. She was the one that purchased my first camera to start my photography business and the one that helps brainstorm ideas.
